Cheesecake Factory Love

Why?

Why doesn’t Wyoming have a Cheesecake Factory nearby?

It would get a lot of business. They could put one in our depressing mall.

When I visit my parents, I insist on going to the Cheesecake Factory. Like we-are-going-here-no-matter-what insist.

I got to go when I was visiting them last month.

I got the white chili first. I highly recommend the white chili.

And okay, yeah the prices are a little up there. But it’s worth it. You get a lot of food so if you can’t finish it, wal-ah, it’s lunch tomorrow.

I always get dessert. Even if I’m full. It’s a sin to go to The Cheesecake Factory and not get dessert. I once got this huge chocolate cake that lasted forever.

The last time I went, I got this:

That would be the Red Velvet Cheesecake.

It was amazing.

I so wish there was a Cheesecake Factory around here so I could go in and buy a slice of cheesecake when I was craving it.

Actually, maybe it’s a GOOD thing we don’t have a Cheesecake Factory. I’d be tempted to stop in every day, the workers would know me by name, I’d gain a billion pounds so when Tom came back from Korea he’d walk right past me because he wouldn’t recognize me since I’d be standing there in a muumuu.

So no Cheesecake Factory. Fine.

It’ll just be something I look forward to having whenever I visit my parents.

**I received no compensation for this post on The Cheesecake Factory but if they’d like to pay me to go, I’d be happy to do it, mwahaha.**

**Actually, I’ll review any restaurant since I love to eat and hate to cook. FYI.**

  1. I have always wondered about that flavor of cheesecake and have never gotten it! I think I just might have to now! I think you should try the carrot cake cheesecake...my fav! The vanilla bean is good too...it is so light feeling and so good! I wish there wasn't one so close to me!

  5. Crap! I shouldn't have read this before I left the house today. Now I'm going to have to take a detour past the Cheesecake Factory!

  8. We went there for the first time last weekend. Yummy. That is where my daughter freaked out that the whipped cream touched the strawberries. Her loss.

  9. I have one not TOO far away.

But they make me sad. Because for YEARS they made this German Chocolate Cheesecake that was the Nirvana of my taste buds... and then... one day... they just stopped making it. And the waitress said "oh try this one - it's really similar"... but it wasn't similar. It wasn't german chocolate cheesecake.

    And I was sad.

  10. I *think* you might be able to order The cheesecake Factory Cheesecake for shipping. They ship it to you in this climate controlled package. But it's a whole cheesecake, not by slice, so I don't know how much that'd cost!

  11. I know you can get their cheesecakes at Target and Walmart and Sam's Club. And that red velvet one really is to die for.

  12. The cupcakes are amazing too....

Maybe they can compensate you in cheesecake.

  13. Cheesecake Factory's Banana Cream Pie Cheesecake is TO DIE FOR. Our CF is an hour away, and sometimes we go just for cheesecake. But when we go for dinner we do just as you say, dinner AND dessert. Always. :)

  14. There is no cheescake factory by me either.

    So so sad.

  15. I've never set foot in a Cheesecake Factory, but now I really want to. You really should've gotten some compensation for that endorsement!

  16. I'm actually glad we don't have one here - because I have absolutely NO willpower.

  20. I've been craving the Cheesecake Factory already, and this post just makes it worse! I loooove their crusted chicken romano. Ohhh man. I might have to get some tonight. Thanks ;)

And strangely enough, I don't even like cheesecake.

  24. Huh, we have at least one that I know of and I have NEVER been there. Ever.

  25. Did they give the calorie menu when you went? Ugh, so not good.
I got the white chili last time too cause it was the only decent calorie count.
But, I did get the pumpkin cheesecake cause no matter how many calories it's worth it.

  26. Red velvet cheesecake??? That sounds and looks scrumptious!

The nearest Cheesecake Factory is 3 hours from here. It makes me sad.

  29. That cake looks amazing. I think I feel the same way when it comes to Olive Garden. I don't go there a whole lot, but I'd feel lost if there wasn't one within 15 miles.

Salad and breadsticks and pasta, YUM.

  30. Yes indeedy...that red velvet cheesecake is rather sinful and delicious! I also really love the Debbies chocolate cake, or something like that it has mousse and ganache and cake and cheesecake and just amazingness!!!

  31. Well, damn if I don't want a piece of cheesecake now!

  33. Bwahahha. I love it when you said "Perhaps it would be good thing there is no Cheesecake factory nearby. I'd eat there all the time and Tom wouldn't recognize me standing there in a mumu because U gained so much weight."
    lol....
    oh my...
    That cheesecake looks DIVINE.
    YUM.
Sadly there is no Cheesecake factory near me either.
I hear the wait to get into that restaurant is really high.
I don't know if I want to wait 2-3 hours for a slice of cheesecake...
    Ugh.
    But I probably would anyway.
Since everyone talks their cheesecake up.
    thanks for stopping by blog.

  34. I used to work just down the street from one back in St. Louis....it was all too easy to meet Stephen for a lunch date there when he had a day off and I had to work....I'm sort of glad to be away from one now LOL. I love it, but it loves my hips and that, I hate.

  35. I love the Cheesecake Factory, and I ALWAYS get the white chili!

I am in complete agreement with the never leaving the restaurant without dessert thing. My cheesecake fave is DULCE DE LECHE. omg. My stomach just growled thinking about it.

  36. I thought we'd never get a Cheesecake Factory in my neck of the woods, but we did. I went with a girlfriend who'd never been before, but keep forgetting it's there. I mean, I could die every time I have the chicken and biscuits, so I don't know why my brain skips over it. Maybe because it's afraid it'll be like heroin and I'll get hooked and have to have it 3 or 4 times a week.

  37. You post SO OFTEN about the cheesecake factory! Have you ever thought about seeing someone about this (prolly) unhealthy obsession? Good thing there ISN'T one near you. You'd prolly get some kind of weird cheesecake disease and have to be on that mystery diagnosis show or something. . .

The sad part? I've never even BEEN to the cheesecake factory. And there are several near me. I would send some your way if I could. I really would!
