Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your diary. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either.

----------------------

To have seen Bridesmaids for the second time. It really is hilarious.

To have freaked out when a seagull buzzed the top of my head when I was making smores on the beach.

To want to see One Day since it's based off the book I'm currently reading. Anne Hathaway is in it so it should be good.

To have eaten 4 smores, the most out of everyone at the family reunion.

To not really like getting too wet at the beach. It's the salt water, I think. I'll stick my feet in but that's about all I prefer to do. Unless one of the kids takes off.

To have been shocked at the huge glass my pina colada was served in at On The Border. Yes. I drank it all.

To be really annoyed that Casey Anthony will walk free after what she did to her daughter.

To know that I will never order a drink with wheatgrass blended in it. Ew.

To love reading on the beach. Unfortunately I can't really do this with kids. Tommy would be fine but Natalie is daring and she'd probably walk out far into the ocean to see what would happen :/

To be tempted to go to Medieval Times for my 30th birthday. I love that kind of thing. Huzzah!

  3. I'm really starting to think I need to see Bridesmaids. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I love the beach, but unlike you, I'm in the water as much as possible. We took Trinity to the beach when she was only about 4 months old, and brought a Pack-N-Play with a huge umbrella so she could nap in the shade. I've never been more upset about sitting still while everyone else splashed in the surf.

And Medieval Times is such a fun restaurant! I've been twice (they don't have on around here, so we go when we go on vacation), and I had a blast both times. You should totally go. On a related note, there's no way you're going to be 30. I don't believe it.

  5. I went to the medieval show in Vegas and it was fantastic!! I think going on your birthday would rock! You're only 29??? For reals? I think you might suck a little bit now...

    LOVE pina coladas!!!!

Love the ocean too, but I love swimming in it!

    SMORES rock!!!!

  6. I dislike Seagulls. One time, one took my son's PB&J right out of his hand!

I once ordered a drink that I thought came with pineapple but in fact came IN a pineapple. I, too, drank the whole thing!

I'm not crazy about the salt water either. Nonetheless, we are headed to the beach today!

  8. I still haven't seen Bridesmaids. It looks so good but I rarely get to the movies. Now I want smores too.

  9. I loved Bridesmaids! My husband thought it was hilarious too! The week before I saw it I had been the matron of honor in a wedding and had been dealing with obnoxious bridesmaids just like the one character in the movie :)

Also can't believe that about Casey Anthony... Unfortunately, based on the evidence, I can see why the jury went that way. I don't agree with it, though. She'll be out any day now, but everyone in Orlando knows where she lives, so she won't be able to go anywhere.

  10. Four smores is the most anybody ate? Wow. Your family would marvel at my gluttony, then.

I've always wanted to go to Medieval Times!

  11. I guess I need to get around to seeing Bridesmaids.

Smores are awesome! I see no problem with having 4.

  12. Bridesmaids was hysterical! I would easily go see it again!

Seagulls are frightening. The people near us on the beach were feeding them (um, why?) so they kept dive bombing us looking for food - and one of our friends got pooped on!

So jealous about the smores! I love them!

  13. You go with your bad 4 s'more eating self. I think that's ok too.

I don't like really going to the beach in general, due to the copious amounts of sand. It's a problem. So, I can completely understand your lack of desire to get all wet there.

And finally.....post some pics of your new place. Just sayin.

  15. But wheatgrass is so good for you! Not that I have ever had any. :)

Still waiting to see Bridesmaids once. I hear it is pee your pants kind of funny.

I am on chapter tweleve of One Day - didn't know they were making a movie. Hope they can retain the flavor of the book!! :)

  26. Well for my 30th birthday for the second straight year in a row I plan on getting drunk. Not as glamorous as a good ol Knight lancing.

  27. Midevil times. A must do.

  28. I don't really love going in the water at the beach, either- I prefer pool! The salt water hurts my eyes, and makes my hair feel disgusting in a way that only a deep conditioning session will fix.

I hope you were eating the s'mores WHILE drinking the giant pina colada- that would be awesome!

  29. *I'm a fan of Anne Hathaway too! :)
