Happy Halloween! I Like Candy!

Happy Halloween!

The kids are aching to start Trick or Treating. Too bad they have to wait until 6.

Tommy is Mario:

(No mustache now because I was worried it wouldn’t stick again for Trick or Treating..)

He’s been obsessed with the Mario games. Granted, he lost all the Mario games for his DS so if anyone ever sells theirs please let me know. I think he lost them when we went to the beach. They must’ve fallen out of his backpack.

That’s Tommy doing Mario moves. He’s attacking Bowser.

Natalie is…

…well, see, she changed her mind a lot. First, she wanted to be a princess. Then it was Spiderman. She’s been obsessed with Spiderman. She still wants a Spiderman mask. Then she thought it would be fun to be a bee, a horse, Princess Peach (which I thought would be adorable going with Tommy's Mario costume but apparently the Princess Peach costume "was not good enough" and "smelled funny,), a doctor, a teacher, and finally when we were at Target she saw an Ariel costume and said she “loved it so much!”

So yeah.

She’s Ariel.

Complete with matching shoes. She had to show off the shoes. They even light up.

Oh, she was being a vampire mermaid here. I said she could be a vampire so long as she’s not that pansy Edward from Twilight.

So what are your kids being for Halloween? Do you dress up?

(Do you take all your favorite candy from their buckets as you go through it all?)

  1. Love the costumes. My girl choose a princess type costume too. Couldn't bribe, reason or trick her into buying something else. She now has 4 princess dress up outfits and counting :P

  5. I don't dress up, but husband does! He made his entire costume w/ the exception of his leather cuffs. He's a Dark Empire Jedi or something like that. Not quite sure... just know it has something to do w/ Star Wars. We'll be giving out candy tonight at the house. My daughter and her friends will help give out candy and probably a few scares too! :o)

Your kids are so cute! I love their costumes!

  7. Too cute! I love Halloween so much. This year, with my red haired five month old, we decided to go with the Flintstones. My husband and I don't look the part very well, but she makes a perfect Pebbles!

  18. Adorable costumes! I have already dressed up a lot this year.

I did the World Record break of the "most people dressed as vampires" so I was a vampiress.

I did the Zombie Clown meeting at a local movie theater.

So I am costumed out. But, I am wearing my skeleton + baby pregnancy shirt today with some orange/black cat pants.

And it's my grand mothers birthdays o I will wear my witch hat for as long as I can tolerate it.

    Happy Halloween!

  19. Oh those costumes are super cute. I wore my cat ears & whiskers today for work. I'll certainly be finishing off all the candy the trick-or-treaters don't get.

  21. We found a great 1980s prom dress at the thrift store, so my girl is going as the 1988 Prom Queen. The boy will be a vampire.

    :)

  23. CUTE! My kids are going as a vampire - but the old school kind, not the twilight kind - and Spider Monkey from Ben10.

  24. They are adorable! My daughter was a fairy princess, and my son was a clown. I made the mistake of not realizing how into Halloween a 2.5-year-old would be... She asked me at least 20 times per hour if it was time to go trick-or-treating yet. And she made me stay out the entire two hours.

  25. Too cute! Annabelle was Olivia. Her first Halloween costume without wings.

  26. They look adorable. My youngest wanted to be Mario, but last minute changed his mind and wanted to be pirate.

I am so glad Halloween is over....

  27. I will totally be the mom who steals my favorite candy when I go through it all.
I love their costumes! I've been seeing a lot of Mario (and other Mario Bros) costumes going around this year.

  28. She is adorable as always, and I love vampire Mermaid! Very creative!

Tommy looks great as Mario, glad to see the old characters are still popular.

    Hope they had fun!

  29. They are so cute!! :)

I plan to take all of the good stuff when LB goes trick or treating next year... Although, Jerk Face will probably yell at me for it. He's such a dad sometimes! ;)

  32. Totally adorable. Can't imagine those Ariel shoes are very comfortable for walking, though. The price we pay for beauty, eh?
