Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. If you do it, make sure you link up! (And make sure when you link up, you actually have an Hey, It's Okay post up, please.)

----------------

To hate when I’m outbid on eBay at the last second when I really want the item.

To be annoyed that it rained this weekend so we couldn’t go to a pumpkin farm. Hopefully it’s clear this weekend.

To enjoy the new show Pan Am.

To be sad that Steve Jobs passed away. Though I wish Apple products weren’t so expensive. And no, I don’t consider him any kind of hero. Heroes to me are the soldiers who risk their lives for the country. Not someone who created something cool.

To be happy Amanda Knox got to go home. With all the evidence, it didn’t seem like she did it and I hope not, because I do feel for the victim’s family the most.

To have liked the movie The Hurt Locker. I watched it with Tom the other day and was surprised by how much I did like it.

To want the new Nicholas Sparks book The Best of Me. I’ll review it on my blog, Mr. Sparks ;) Heck, I’ll review any book.

To not watch The X Factor. I like Simon but I’m over those kinds of competitions.

To love finding sweet notes like this from Tom:

(I'm trying a new Link site since Linky Tools went to paid subscriptions. I hope this one works!)

  1. I don't like American Idol and I have never watched X Factor or whatever it's called.

  2. We went to a pumpkin farm this weekend...but didn't actually get a pumpkin. That's okay, right?

  3. I've been over American Idol for years, but Jerk Face (he's like a 12 year old girl) always wants to watch it... these last few times, I got my way-- *We did watch Crystal Bowersox because she's from our area though...

I agree about your Steve Jobs and Amanda Knox ones too!

  7. The Hurt Locker is awesome. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It also doesn't hurt that Jeremy Renner is hot.

  10. I so want to see Pam Am!!! Is it realllly good??? *jealous* We only get like 5 channels and one of them happens to be out right now!!!

I hate when some booger "steals" MY ITEM on eBay!! Especially when I called dibs!!!!

It's been interesting living in Italy, while the retrial of Amanda Knox was going on. Italians just HATE her and have said the most horrible things about her. She's like Casey Anthony over here! Although it was all hyped up and nothing based on any facts!

I have a hard time watching any Iraq or Afghanistan movies. They just make me all anxious and usually cry. Perhaps when Thomas retires.....no, probably not even then!

Nicholas Sparks bugs me with his "rip your heart out and stomp on it" tactics!!!! Big booger!

LOVING X Factor!!! It's one show we do get, lol!

You have a romantic Thomas too...ahhhh!!!!

  14. Is it just me, or has Tom been extra romantic since he's been back?

  15. I was outbid at the last minute by someone on ebay this weekend. And I was SO MAD. I wanted those shoes so badly.

    That note is so sweet!

I want the new Nicholas Sparks, too. Though, I'm in the middle of reading a 6 book series- only a book and a half to go. So, I'm going to finish that first. Otherwise, I'll go back to it and not remember what was happening.

  17. I loved Hurt Locker! I sat on the edge of my seat for the entire movie and had a stress headache by the end of it. On second thought, maybe I didn't like it.
