Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. If you do it, make sure you link up! (And make sure when you link up, you actually have an Hey, It's Okay post up, please.)

------------

To wonder if the Justin Bieber rumor is true. Did he father a baby? Apparently he's taking a DNA test. It's been very Maury Povich.

To have noticed on Twitter that tweets from McDonalds say that they are changing. They better not mess with their fries.

To be sad that Andy Rooney passed away. He cracked me up.

To hate that Christmas music is already playing in stores. Wait another month. Please.

To have thought Bad Teacher was an amusing movie. I like Jason Segel.

To wish Lindsay Lohan would be thrown in jail. They tried to put her back in but she was quickly released due to overcrowding. She needs to get beat up in jail, perhaps she’d learn an actual lesson….

To love crock pot recipes. Have an easy one? Let me know!

To be glad we weren’t hit by the tornados that kept popping up all around Oklahoma yesterday. We did experience the aftershock of the earthquake though.

To hope that my best friend Jennifer gets enough people for her Turkey Trot that she’s doing. Do you like Thirty-One products and want to win something? Everyone wins! Check this link out here.

  3. I hear that the judge actually handled the situation better than people realized. When she sent Lindsay off to the slammer, she knew that Lindsay would only say a few minutes. But she could only give her the 30 days (which translates to minutes). However, she laid out Lindsay's monthly schedule of community service that she MUST abide by. She told Lindsay failure to do so would be something like 8 months in jail (I don't remember the exact amount). It translates to about 2 actual months in jail though.

It appears that Lindsay will be staying in the city hotel after all before long. I doubt she'll take her community service any more seriously, and she might not realize that the jail time will be real this time.

  4. So glad you were safe from the tornadoes. And I simply have to agree with you on a few of these. I actually shed a tear about Andy Rooney, I've been watching him since I was a tot...I would always skip the rest of the show when I was in single digits and just watch his part....I loved how grumpy he was.
I too wish they would throw Lindsey in jail and throw away the key! Last night I heard about the whole Justin debacle....Povich style drama indeed. Thanks for stopping by on my SITS day!

  6. "Dont forget to give us some your comment into my blog too."

I love that line. I liked it best when he left it on my blog this morning, but it's nice on yours too.

Bieber TOTALLY did it with that girl!!

  7. I'll miss Andy... he had the kind of humor I enjoy - droll but penetrating, if you thought about it.

Lindsey and the JUDGE need to spend some time in the general population....

  8. I love my crock pot. I like making pulled pork. SOOOOO easy.

  9. Easy crock pot: Boneless, skinless chicken breast (amount is whatever you desire). One packet of taco seasoning and one jar of salsa you and the family like. High: 8 hours or so, then shred (like BBQ). Tacos, enchiladas, flour tortillas - really anything. Add toppings you like. Done!

  10. call me an optimist, but I highly doubt Beiber got that girl pregnant. I REALLY want to believe there are teen idols out there who really stick to their beliefs.

I love crock pot recipes too, but I Never cook!! ugh.. sorry I can't help out. I do have a lot of recipes pinned on pinterest though. :o)

  12. I have an awesome crock pot recipe for how to roast a whole chicken. It's basically fool proof because if there was a way to screw it up... I would have!
http://www.thesacredvillage.com/1/post/2011/09/monday-night-recipe-crock-pot-style.html I don't want to post the whole recipe... but I guarantee you will love it!
PS Love you and your blog!!!

  13. Lindsay Lohan just needs to have all of her funding cut off and be forced to work at a fast food drive through dressed in a fat suit....I don't know if that would fix her but it sure would make me laugh to see!

Is Justin Bieber old enough to have a baby? How did I miss this in the news?

    Great list!

  14. Loved Bad Teacher, Jason Segal is awesome!

  15. I love to put 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts into the crock pot, pour in an entire family sized can of cream of chicken soup, turn the crock pot on low all day and then just serve it over rice. SO EASY and SO GOOD!

  16. Making chili in my crockpot right now.

I throw in some chicken breasts and an entire jar of my favorite salsa, set it on low and go to work. When I get home the chicken falls apart and I either have tacos, burritos or my favorite yummy salad with shredded salsa chicken on top.

  19. The whole Justin Bieber thing kills me - but I can't turn away!

  20. I think Justin IS THE FATHER! You are totally right about Lindsey. Overcrowding my ass...she just needs to get hers kicked. I can't wait to see Bad Teacher! It's on my Netflix list.

  21. I read those pages in the back of Glamour magazine and there are always ones I can relate to. I adore crock pot recipes. Something about getting it done early, then when the home is busy ta-da, dinner is magically ready.

  22. Ug! Christmas music ALREADY! Forget it! Glad you survived the hurricanes. . . what is going ON over there!

  23. I was sadly disappointed by Bad Teacher. I wanted it to be funnier. More focused on the classroom, maybe.

  24. Totally agree about Christmas- it's just too soon. Be interesting to see what the DNA tests show- and pretty sad it has to come to that.

  25. Isn't one Beiber baby enough? He's like what? 12?

    Seriously.

Anyway... here's hoping they don't decide to mess with the Shamrock shake. 30 days is not enough time.

  26. I haven't seen Bad Teacher yet, but I like Jason Segel :c)

  30. the whole Lindsay Lohan thing is such a joke. she needs some tough love. she needs to stay in jail. and tell me about all the christmas music. one of my jobs is in retail, I heard my first christmas song on our store cd. and my eye started twitching. it's fun at first, but they only play the same 10 songs just sung by different people and it really gets old fast!!

  31. I don't know about this Justin Bieber thing. He still looks like he hasn't gone through puberty yet. Glad you guys escaped the tornado. Crap I have Justin Bieber song playing as we speak on my playlist. Baby Baby Baby Oh... LOL.

I will really miss Andy- I am sad. I've been watching him it seems like all my life...
VERY glad that the tornadoes skipped you!

    BOYCOTT MCDONALDS.
You entire body, and your children, will thank you one day. How about someone DIED at our McDonalds a few months ago. An elderly lady. It happened in the bathroom. Evidently its a design malfunction in some of the McDonalds. She never even knew what hit her and two people almost died trying to save her.

  33. I absolutely love Jason Segel. I haven't seen that movie yet though.
I hate how early the stores play Christmas music - especially when I still worked at a grocery store. Listening to it all day, almost everyday from November 1st on makes me bitter about Christmas before December even hits.

  34. Bad Teacher is hilarious!!

Crock pot recipe...beef roast, can of mushroom soup, pack of onion soup mix, potatoes cut into quarters, bag of baby carrots. Mix all ingredients except the roast together in the crock pot. Place the roast in and roll it till it is coated. Cook on low for 8 hours.

  35. It's kind of hard to wrap my mind around the thought of Justin Beiber as a dad...wasn't he just born himself?!

    I <3 my crock pot!

Lindsay Lohan...sigh! Since rehab isn't helping, they need to keep her locked up long enough to detox...which will probably take a few months.

The only thing scarier than an earthquake...tornado! Glad you weren't near any of them.

  36. No way do I think Justin Beiber is that baby's daddy.

I want to see Bad Teacher.
