Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up with is an Hey, It's Okay post.

---------------

To have thrown together Easter baskets a couple of hours before I went to bed on Saturday.

To like that we had grilled hamburgers and hot dogs instead of ham on Easter. I’m prefer cow and mystery products to ham.

To love that it’s getting warmer but hate that bees are coming back out. I hate bees. I don’t trust bees.

To have tried Pepsi Next and liked it. I really should stay away from diet sodas because of the aspartame so I’m trying to find low sugar sodas that doesn’t contain it. Soda is how I get my caffeine so I can’t just give it up.

To have bought a some Easter candy for 50% off on Monday. Cheap chocolate makes me happy.

To really hope Tom will be around to go to the beach family reunion in June. He can deploy at any time now.

To hate Facebook’s timeline. I resisted getting it until they MADE me get it. Now I have it and I want it to piss off.

To have liked the movie American Reunion. Tom and I got to go on a date on Saturday. It was odd to be able to see a movie the day after it was released in theaters! It’s rare we can do that.

  1. I hate the new timeline too. It sucks! Fingers crossed that Tom won't be deployed very far away this time.

  4. Burgers on Easter sound good. I can't wait to see American Reunion. It will probably be on DVD by the time we see it though.

  6. Thank God I'm not the only one who waited until Saturday night to throw together Easter baskets!

  7. The new timeline and bees can suck it! We totally spaced Easter until Saturday afternoon which was not fun. I am not sure how it "snuck" up on us but it did. Boo to deployments and I hope he will not go anytime soon.

  8. We talked about grilling for Easter dinner, and it would have been GREAT! (I'm jealous!) Unfortunately, I already had everything thawed and prepped for our traditional ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls.

  9. I went grocery shopping today and there was Easter chocolate - but it was still regular price? The hell?

  10. If it makes you feel better... I didn't do Easter baskets at all with my children. Just couldn't.

  11. It took me months to get used to the timeline. You'll get there!

  12. I am hoping I will never get Timeline (which I know it's a possibility).

I can't believe I forgot to buy Easter candy on Monday and that I forgot today when I was at the store! Boo.

  13. I don't like Timeline either. Not gonna put in much effort, because I don't think many people will ever go there.

  14. Ha! We had grilled burgers and hot dogs on Easter too. And they were yummy. I do one huge sit down dinner per year and that's Thanksgiving. That's enough!
