Hey, It's Okay Tuesday

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

---------------------

To think on that Prius commercial instead of going, “Let’s honk, honk, honk, honk…Prius for everyone..” that it’s really going, “Let’s hump, hump, hump, hump…Prius for everyone.” I swear, it sounds more like hump.

To be a regular visitor at the library. I’m there every week. Two books that I recently read and enjoyed? Where We Belong by Emily Giffin and The Sleeping Beauty Proposal by Sarah Strohmeyer.

To be mortified over Teresa’s behavior on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. And yes, I’m mortified that I even WATCH that crap but I can’t help it. And please, will someone tell her to STOP saying, “Are you kidding me?” If I ever met her the first thing I’d say was, “You need to be a better role model for your daughters and no, I am NOT kidding you.” People, stop buying her cookbooks. Don’t give someone like her money.

To have been shocked at the ending of Grey’s Anatomy. I knew Mark was going to die because it was all over the news that the actor was leaving the show. But the other thing…

To still think people ought to stay off Facebook if they don’t want a show spoiled. Drives me batty when someone comes on my page and goes, “No spoilers, please!” There will be no spoilers IF YOU STAY OFFLINE! I don't normally blast a spoiler but if I make a comment like, "Wow, crazy show!" and then someone else pops over and wants to discuss it since they've just seen it too, it's irritating to have someone ask us to stop.

To be taking the kids to see Hotel Transylvania this weekend. Tom will be home by then, yay! I’m more excited about the popcorn mixed with SnoCaps. I came across a blog and she was saying that was HER invention and I was like, “Uh, no. I’ve been doing that for YEARS!”

To have two giveaways going on at the moment. You can win a 11X14 canvas print here and a copy of the Dark Shadows movie with Johnny Depp here.

  2. Greys Anatomy surprised me too! I was hoping they'd do something good this season so I'm interested to see how it plays out!

  3. I quit watching greys anatomy several years ago.

  4. I still haven't watched Greys, but I don't mind spoilers(I already had an idea anyway) I figure if I wait this long to watch it, then I should expect to read spoiers. :)

  5. I love Grey's! At the end of almost every episode I make my husband drop what he's doing to give me a hug. It's always so emotional! ...In a thoroughly entertaining way.

  6. I LOVE Grey's. I was a mess watching that episode.

I'm on the west coast so I know better than to get on the internets if I don't want a show spoiled....but I LOVE spoilers so I look for them. I'm wierd like that!

  7. Funny that you talked about RHofNJ! I watched the first four episodes today online. That woman is burning bridges left and right! One sad day her good for nothing husband is going to leave her, and she's going to have NO ONE but her kids left.

    Have a great week!

  8. And what is it with Theresa always pointing out that her co-stars must be the devil because they are wearing read? I used to like her, but then she became a fame-whore. And I think it's funny how she denies saying things that she said on camera! I'm desperately waiting for next week's episode.

  10. Those spoiler things bother me too!

  11. Teresa is absolutely off her rocker. She kept denying things that she said ON CAMERA. It's pointless to even fight with her.

I was shocked at Grey's too (the other part). I knew that Eric Dane was leaving the show so his death wasn't a surprise.

  13. I agree. I always forget to not look at FB for the tv spoilers, but if you are on there, it's your own fault!

  14. I recently read "Where We Belong" too. Great book.

I was very shocked about the end of Gray's too!

And I like to put Sour Patch Kids in my popcorn at the movies. Yum!

  15. I loved watching Hotel Transylvania with my son (it was his first trip to the movie theater)! It was definitely a cute movie.

  17. THANK YOU! I posted something like, "Thank God Duckie didn't die on NCIS" and had people ranting because they had DVR'd it and not watched it yet. I also followed the Olympics during the day and was all excited that Gabbie won all-round gold and people were so incensed at me for mentioning it.

    P.S. I bought your book! :)
