Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

----------------

To not understand why men think it’s funny to hit each other in the nuts with random objects. I watch a show called World’s Dumbest where there will be various video clips and a lot of them are men hitting each other in the balls. I’m like ?

To think that Digorno pizza does NOT taste like delivery. It’s okay, but delivery is so much better.

To be excited for the cheeseballs from Hickory Farms to come out. I always buy one from the ones set up in the mall.

To think celebrities are awarded too much. There are so many different award ceremonies. It’s ridiculous. No wonder so many are complete arseholes.

To be taking the kids to Texas Roadhouse on Tuesday. It’s Kid’s Night and kids get a free meal when they show up in costume.

To not like laugh tracks on shows. I'll figure out when I want to laugh, thanks.

To wish American Girl dolls weren’t so expensive. Natalie wants a couple and they are like $100 a pop. Yikes!

To be ready for Halloween candy tomorrow. Lucky for me, my kids share.

  1. 100$ per doll is a tad on the expensive side!

  2. I'm so irritated by Halloween right now, which is currently being held on the Saturday following actual Halloween because apparently children can't trick-or-treat in pouring rain and 50 mph winds. *wussies*

  3. I feel celebrities are awarded too much too. Those dolls are crazy expensive! Wow!
    Great list (:

  4. I'm with you on the Pizza thing. I prefer delivery too!

And I think celebrities are awarded too much, even in their pay. Why are they paid so much to cry on cue? I believe people who help make society progress should be paid that much, like doctors, carpenters, firemen, teachers, etc. They're the ones that make the world go round. Right? Let's protest! lol

I wish your kids would come share their Halloween candy with me. My kid is too small to trick or treat, so I'm missing out on the candy!

  5. I can only say that we drank the AG juice and my daughter is now obsessed. Target does sell knock off dolls and their accessories, though for less than half the price. Could be a good alternative if Natalie doesn't have friends who have the real deal. We just got the doll salon chair for $19 at Target. It's awesome! Love these posts.

  7. Lucky for me, Aubri is too little for candy so Matt and I get it all. I'm thinking she'll be too little for it next year too.

  8. Those American Girl Dolls are crazy expensive. I throw the catalogs out before my daughter can see them.

  9. When my daughter was 11, she wanted and American Doll baby. Way too expensive and I did not want to spend the money so I told her that if she did little chores around the house, I would pay her so much for each chore. She loved it. And she earned the money over several months to get the doll. She is 25 now and still remembers doing that and how much that doll meant to her. I have it put back in her keepsake box. Natalie is not too young to start doing little chores to help earn what she really wants. Just a thought.

  10. Your kids share, but do they share the good stuff? My kids love to give me the banana flavored crap they don't like :) That's ok cause I have my own stash :)

  11. I so totally agree with that first one, my room mate loves the show Ridiculousness, that's all they show practically and it has to be the dumbest thing I have ever watched. He just cracks up, I have to leave the room. I really don't like laugh tracks either, especially for a new show, it's distracting and annoying. Happy Halloween!

  12. I agree with your statement about movie stars. My goodness.
I hear you on the American Girl Dolls. They are up to 105 now.

  13. I've never been to Texas Roadhouse but my daughter is taking us when we visit in December!

I hope you have fun tonight!!!

  14. I was just at the mall on Sunday and got overly excited when I saw the Hickory Farms stand. Sausage, cheese and crackers? Sign me up!

And I HATE HATE HATE award shows. A bunch of rich people getting dressed up to get together and shower praise upon each other for doing nothing of significance? Excuse me while I find a quiet spot to vomit.

  15. My wife can't bring home candy until about 30 mins before trick or treating starts! Hickory Farms, yes!

  16. Nothing tastes like delivery except actual delivery. And I sure could go for some right now.

  17. My husband gets a Hickory Farms set every year for Christmas. And he savors it - like there is still some unopened things in a box from last year. Weirdo! Eat it! Haha!
