Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

---------------------

To have taken the kids to see The Croods and liked it. It was pretty amusing.

To miss Tom. I hate deployments. But I try to keep myself busy so I don’t dwell on it.

To be annoyed that it’s cold again today. It’s been in the 60s and 70s and today our high is 42.

To think Kim Kardashian needs to find clothes that fit her pregnant body better. The pictures that I’ve seen on TV are not becoming.

To have volunteered to be a chaperone for Natalie’s school zoo trip next week. I might need to take some Excedrin with me.

To be glad that my Easter dinner that I cooked didn’t burn. The mashed potatoes came out edible this time!

To have bought Cadbury Eggs for 50% off. Love those things.

To have been a bit underwhelmed during the finale of The Walking Dead. I was glad that a certain someone died though. Some people were like, “I cried!” and I was like, “I cheered!”

  2. I'm so over this weather...same here, warm the other day and now freezing! Why can't spring be here to stay?

  3. I love love love Cadbury eggs. I have them scattered all around my house, car, office and purse. Thank goodness they are seasonal or I would be as big as a house!

  4. Hooray for mashed potatoes! I made scalloped potatoes. I was so excited to put them in the over for the last hour of the ham baking. I patted myself on the back for my perfect timing. It wasn't until the timer went off that I realized that the ham needed to be at 450, while the potatoes only had to be at 350!! Thankfully, the top layer of {burned, black} cheese peeled right off and no one knew the difference!

  5. Where is the field trip to? With that age maybe ear plugs for the bus ride would also help.
When they opened the door and she was still there I was 'Nooooo' but then the reveal and 'Yes!'. And the governor still lives to return when the story line gets too thin.

  8. haha! I don't watch Walking Dead but I did see the end and my husband thought some people might be happy about what happened. He was right!

I'm going to the zoo this weekend. Yikes! And also it's 38 degrees here and windy and it feels awful! Just awful.

  9. Apparently I have not visited nearly enough of late, because I did not realize Tom was deployed again! I am freezing! We arrived home from FL today and while I would have been grateful for these temps BEFORE I left, now that I'm used to 80's, I cannot get warm!

  11. We are still sitting in the mid 30 to mid 40 here ... it sucks! I really need it to get warmer NOW!

What is it with Kim K??? with all the money she has and the personal stylists she has access to you would think that she would be in the latest maternity clothes not trying to squeeze into regular clothes and just looking bad.

  12. Near the end of the Crood Movie, I started having a giggling fit. The kind you cannot stop. The kind that causes tears to run out the corner of your eyes. The kind you try to keep quiet by clamping your lips shut and your cheeks swell up with hot air tension. I liked the movie a lot.

  13. The Croods were fantastic!! And I love chocolate... and cadbury eggs. Kim K? too bad she can't be a normal hideous bloated prego woman. With prego acne and swollen feet...
