Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

-----------------

To wish we could rent out Disney World so we didn’t have to deal with lines. Disney World is a magical place but it’s also one where you begin to think things like, “The world is overpopulated..”

To want to see the new movie The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.

To hope I never attend a wedding with a naked wedding cake. Confused? Read this. I like my frosting, yo.

To love the hot chocolate coolata from Dunkin Donuts.

To hope I don’t have to deal with any line cutters at Disney World. I will speak up. I don’t tolerate that nonsense.

To want to say thank you to those who have purchased by book The Swimmer’s Assistant. If you’re looking for a summer read, perhaps try out my book? You can read a preview and see if it’s something you’d enjoy.

To love my birthday present from Tom:

  1. There is a time and place for naked. A CAKE is not that place and not that time. Life is not worth living without frosting!
    I love the T-shirt!

  2. How can you not have frosting on a cake?!? That's just wrong

  3. That isn't right, cakes need frosting.
I can only imagine how many people are at Disney World!
    I love that shirt :D
Are you going to have your book published? I would love to buy it but have no plans of getting a Kindle :(

  4. Disney in June - must be crowd heaven. It looks like you're having fun - did you get an empty suitcase to bring back all of Na's new things?

  5. The world is overpopulated.

Imagine what it's going to be like for Natalie in about 2030 when there are 50% more than there are now?

Anyways... I hope you are enjoying your vacation and Happy Birthday to you!

  6. I'm not a huge frosting lover, but I still think it's necessary on a cake! Plus, they just don't look as pretty au natural.

  9. Lines at Disney are the worst. No. I take it back. Line cutters are the worst.

  12. Awesome t-shirt!! LOVE Grumpy Cat!!

Disney....kind of a let-down to be honest. Soooo crowded, and soooo expensive. Glad we went, but will happily forgo it in the future. I liked the smaller one in Paris to be honest.

  13. Life is too short for cakes without frosting! And really it is just sad.

I saw the trailer for Heat, gonna be funny!

  14. I actually might not mind a naked cake. Now that I'm old, all of the frosting bothers me.
Just a tip for Disney. I've never done it, because I haven't been recently, but my best friend swears by it. You tell them that you have anxiety issues & they give you a pass to skip the line. Not sure if I'd ever try it, because I'm a chicken, but it works for her!

  15. Cool shirt! I don't know about the naked cake. Seems....wrong (I like my icing too)

  16. I'm apparently the only person completely intrigued by this naked cake idea!! That is probably the only way I'd really enjoy cake is sans icing. I guess I'm weird, oh well. :)

  17. Having enough money to hire one of those Disney escorts for the day is on my life bucket list! ;)-Ashley

  18. I think I'd actually eat a frosting-less cake... I prefer the cake part, not the frosting. I'll actually scrape that off if there's too much. Don't hate me ;)

  19. Have you thought about doing a "print on demand" book publishing? Then your book can be in hard print and people can order from the publishers website and you don't have to be out any money upfront! I would buy it (I don't do e-books!)

  20. I actually wouldn't mind trying a naked cake bc it looks like they have icing in the middle of the layers, but I tend to eat less icing.

    LOVE Angy cat.
