Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
------------

--To have booked our trip to Disney World in March. (Read more about it here!)

--To be going to enroll Natalie in school today. It's almost HERE guys. The kids go back August 19th. (Tommy goes to middle school, so all he does is pick up his schedule.)

--To wish we could have afforded to stay at the Polynesian when we go to Disney World, but alas, it was too expensive. If only Tom Cruise were in our family. Can you take us when you go with Suri? Please?

--To be done with all our summer plans. Tom's Mom and our niece left on Saturday. That was our last visit. Now we just wait for school to start...(see above)

--To have loved all the food Tom's Mom made when she was here. She's an awesome cook.

--To have watched Sharknado 2. It was....well, it was what I expected. Amusing and ridiculous.

--To really wish Jocasta would stop crying so much on Big Brother. I'm an emotional person too, but good gracious, she takes it to the next level. She's a preacher and I feel like I'd be annoyed through her sermons.

--To love this butterfly cake that my mother-in-law made with her grandkids when she was here:

Yes, it was delicious! That's buttercream frosting. And she made extra, so I could spoon some up and eat it like pudding.

  2. That cake is so much fun! I used to make cakes with my niece on a weekly basis. When she'd leave our house to go home she would always say "tomorrow we'll make cakes and cookies!". Oh how time flies!

  9. That cake is beautiful!!! I love buttercream best. Don't tell the others.
And I watched Sharknado 2. Twice. Because Cassidy kept falling asleep watching it but I'd be awake.. and just watching it again.

  11. I saw that cake on your instagram! Impressive!!! Also, I feel left out of this whole "sharknado" movement. People either tell me not to watch it or that it's a must watch! I may have to check it out just to see what the hoopla is about.

  13. We start school on the 19th too. Not ready in the least. That cake looks yummy. Haven't had time to watch Big Brother....guess I am glad. Crying would annoy me after while. I do enough that I don't need to watch someone do it. :)

  15. I would love to stay at the Polynesian one day. We eat at Kona a lot just to have an excuse to go to the Polynesian.

  16. That cake! I want some.

I love the Polynesian. I wish we could afford it too, $400+ a night? No thanks.

  17. Cake is pretty and buttercream frosting sounds delish. It just made me think of other cakes I might want to eat right now.... so it's ok to have a frozen ice cream cake, right? Well, maybe just a slice!

  18. I've always wanted to stay at one of the resorts at Disney World. It seems like it would be fun to shuttle back and forth, leaving the park when you're tired and going back when you're ready. But as much as people say, "It's really affordable," it seems to always end up being more expensive when I price it!

  19. I have not yet watched Sharknado 1 or 2. Perhaps for the same reasons you detailed. I am jealous you get to go to Disney World, we have never been as a family. Hopefully we will hit Disneyland in April though :)
