Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To snort when I saw that Michelle Duggar says that "you need to be available whenever he calls." Meaning always have sex when your man wants it. No, Michelle. I will not. It's not 1954. But thanks for the advice.

--To have been amused by The Simpsons/Family Guy crossover. Yes, I like crude humor. I think the fact that I'm an adult who still giggles like crazy when someone farts proves that.

--To not care that George Clooney is married.

--To be proud of Tom for getting a 90 on his PT test. It's a military thing to make sure you're fit and that you don't scare people while in uniform. The mantra 'big is beautiful' does not fly when you're a soldier.

--To not want to see the new show Selfie, only because I still hate that word so much.

--To have seen the following new shows and liked them: Scorpion, How To Get Away With Murder, and The Mysteries of Laura.

--To wish Tom liked more of my shows. But most of the time when I have one on (Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, or a reality show) he's all, "I'm not enjoying any of this." So I'll turn it off, because it's distracting with all his comments that have been: "Why is she crying again? She's always crying!" or, "You'd never get the president alone that often.")

--To have a giveaway to win a Frozen necklace here. Go enter! The necklaces are awesome.

--To be glad that my kids don't want to see The Boxtrolls. It looks awful. I'm picky about what children's movie I'll endure.

--To love this Frozen shirt! I got it from Daffe Designs. She makes all sorts of fun shirts. And no, this is not an ad, I paid for my shirt.

  3. Michelle Duggar makes me so sad. I feel like she was not always like this and her douchebag of a husband brainwashed her.

I love that Frozen shirt!! My daughter would love it, too, because she and Natalie are basically the same.

I need to watch How To Get Away With Murder. I forgot to record it. Thankfully there's On Demand!

  4. The Duggars are depressing. I love that they are debt free other than that, I just shake my head. I just started watching scandal and love it.

  5. I hate when Hubbs talks crap about my shows, but then won't shut up and quit asking questions while I'm watching. I was trying to watch Once Upon a Time this weekend and they brought the Frozen cast on so he thought he was knowledgeable to comment since he has seen Frozen. I turned it off and said I would try again later.

  6. I actually watched the show Selfie over the weekend when I was out of other things to watch. AWFUL.

  7. Do you really think Michelle Duggar never says no? I can't believe that, I mean despite the gazillion kids she's got.

  8. I cannot stand watching TV shows with Ken around, unless it's one of his shows. The sarcastic commentary on cartoons drives me up the wall!! At first it's slightly funny, but then it gets old FAST!

  9. Congrats to Tom on his test! That's wonderful. I don't care the George Clooney is married either. have a great week!

  10. Michelle Duggar and I have very little (if anything) in common.
Chris is taking his PT test this week - he usually emails me after to tell me that "he has the body of a 19 year old." OK!!

  11. I watched Scandal for the first time this weekend and I'm not sure I'll continue. Kerry Washington has a LOT of distracting mannerisms. But How To Get Away With Murder is definitely now a permanent show. The premiere was awesome :) I felt that I needed more "non reality" shows to watch since the only one I had recording was Greys. Fail.

  12. I know I said it before but your daughter is so dang cute!

Haha! I am a firm believer in a healthy sex life but if it's up to "him" (any guy) that's all we would do and there would be no responsibility at all. Ever. not even to go to work.

Great job on the PT results~

  13. I want to see The Mysteries of Laura, if only because I really like Debra Messing. I really can't get down with the Duggars. I don't believe in anything they do or say.

  14. That shirt is perfect for my daughter. LOL! I watch Mindy Project and don't want my husband to watch because he just makes fun of it and ruins the enjoyment. I don't watch his shows and wouldn't watch just to make fun of them either. :)

  15. I dvr'd Mysteries of Laura. Hoping to watch it this week. I'm also dvr'ing Selfie & the show after it, Manhattan love story or something. I think the Duggars are such freaks, that it's fun watching the show & making fun of them.

  16. I love that shirt! I have Scorpion and Mysteries of Laura dvr'ed but haven't had a chance to watch yet. I did like How to Get Away with Murder b/c I feel like I need to watch it again to get it. I was really tired when I watched.

  18. Your daughter is just adorable :)

Had to laugh about hubs complaining about your shows. Mine does the same thing, yet knows who all of the NYC Real Housewives are. Makes a girl wonder...haha

  19. I love Scandal - but if I have to listen to my husband tell me how unrealistic it is one more time...it's a tv show, it doesn't have to be realistic! I just can't with Michelle Duggar. Congrats to your hubby on his PT test!

  20. I don't really know what the Boxtrolls is!
Ok, so Cassidy and I cross over on a few shows, but mostly he watches things that disturb me and my shows disturb him, but in different ways.
    Too light and fluffy???

  21. My husband hates my shows, he thinks teen mom is awful. And I hate his shows. I really really don't want to watch youtube clips of vacations gone wrong. No. I'm scared. I love that shirt and your disclaimer lol

  22. I am so with you about George Clooney. Who freakin cares? I don't. To much media coverage.

Duggars, I watch the show. Okay to admit that. Just can't believe how they live, or the amount of children they have. Sometimes, I wonder which child will go write a book about what really was going on.

  23. I love the t-shirt!!

  24. Seriously Michelle Duggar? I cannot even comment.

  25. The Duggars. I totally watch them for shits n giggles and my husband and I laugh and laugh. I don't care about Clooney either.I honestly don't get the hype. I entered the giveaway and want to win. I am also checking out those shirts!

  26. So I try never to think about the Duggars, but I can't help but think her daughter who is preggo totally got knocked up before the wedding. I was doing the math from the People magazine article and it does not add up!-Ashley

  27. LOL - the shirt is awesome! my girls would definitely like that. but I will need one with appropriate response for their brother to wear. ha
I only care that Mr Clooney actually married a woman of appropriate age and with more than an adequate brain in her head, instead of that dumb Hollywood cliche of "22 year old aspiring actress and model." ugh.

  28. Love the shirt! We're loving Scorpion. Thankfully my Tom and I do like the same shows. Thank goodness!
