Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To love watching My Cat From Hell. It makes me thankful that my cat isn't insane.

--To not be sad that Honey Boo Boo was cancelled. I watch a lot of trash reality shows, but that one was too much for me.

--To have guest posted on The Inklings of Life here. I wrote about why it's okay to take Halloween candy from your kids.

--To wonder what Renee Zellwiger did to her face. Well, I know what she did. Plastic surgery. But still. It's a shock to see the change.

--To not feel sorry for Monica Lewinsky. She made a speech on how she was called names after her scandal. Well gee, maybe don't mess with a married man?

--To not care that Callie and Arizona will most likely break up on Grey's Anatomy. I've never been a fan of Arizona's character.

--To miss Grimace. You know that giant purple thing from McDonalds?

--To like Tommy's expression whenever we carve pumpkins. The sensation freaks him out.

  1. i stopped watching grey's a long time ago....are they still together?

i'm trying to find out why everyone is up in arms about renee zellwiger....her face just looks longer. am i not looking at the right picture? because if she did to surgery, she looks damn good compared to some of the other jobs i've seen on the interwebs (ie. bruce jenner, pete burns, janice dickenson etc).

  2. i remember grimace being at the playground--it was this bouncy thing with bars you could move around...back when safety was not an option in playgrounds ;)

  3. I had an issue with the way they dealt with Callie and Arizona's issues. Is it really a thing to not speak to each other for 30 days??

  4. I don't feel bad for Monica Lewinsky either. As you said, that is what happens when you cheat with a married public figure!

  5. More than I miss Grimace, I miss the old McDonaldland cookies. Please tell me I'm not the only one who remembers them!!! My family always makes fun of me because I try to order them sometimes and the McDonald employees think I'm an idiot.

  6. My hubs loves that cat show even though we don't have cats and are allergic to them. And Honey Boo Boo was finally cancelled??? One less horrible show on TV. LOL on your son's face during pumpkin carving! I bet my son would be like that too.

  7. I'm not one for reality TV, but the Honey Boo Boo show looked like a train wreck from day one!
Where did Grimace go? My friend and I would call him a purple popsicle.

  8. I have never watched Grey's Anatomy. I am totally not sad about Honey Boo Boo. I don't understand how they got a show in the first place!

  9. My girls and I make that same face. That's why we don't carve pumpkins anymore. It just grosses us out. The whole Honey Boo Boo thing is weird. Who dates a convicted sex offender when it was your child he assaulted so you know its true. She needs professional help.

  10. The pumpkin sensation freaks me out too. MFD is the one who gets in and gets the guts out and digs out the seeds.

    Honey Boo Boo is gross.

I loved Grimace. And the Hamburglar.

  11. I can't stand Honey Boo Boo. Glad it will be getting cancelled. Renee looks SO different to me. Almost reminds me of Sarah Jessica Parker now.

  12. Yeah, I can't figure out why Monica Lewinsky keeps shoving herself into the spotlight. Move on and leave the Clintons alone. Maybe that's the ultimate punishment for cheating on your wife. Your mistress spends the next 50 years bleeding every dollar she can get out of it! I assume she's only coming forward now because of Hillary's expected run for office?

  13. I don't care about Monica's sob story either.

I have watched Cat from Hell before and I actually liked it too!

Poor Renee. She had those signature small eyes and then she got an eyelift and she looks like a whole new person. Too sad

  14. Is it bad I'm contemplating that I need to turn my cat in for my cat from hell? He's getting that bad! But I do love that show - hopefully I can pick up enough hints from watching it!

  15. OMG I love this post! Reminds me of my Thursday thoughts! I'll have to link it up! Seriously though.. I don't want to care about Renee's face but I can't help but wonder wth she was thinking. I hope she likes it though.

  16. I'm with you on Grey's. I feel like it's time for them to call is quits. After you lose 5 of your original main characters, I don't care to watch anymore. lol

  17. I miss Grimace, too. And the Fry Guys. Also the Hamburgler.

I have NO feelings of pity for Monica Lewinsky. It makes me a little sad that she's still sort of relevant. Can't she just be a footnote in history and leave it at that?

  18. Yeah I saw that picture of RZ and was like.. no. There is NO way that is her. She looks completely different!

  19. I thought of you and Tommy as Jonathan carved pumpkins this evening. He couldn't even attempt to touch the stuff inside.

  20. My cats aren't insane. Well one isn't. The other one is but not at all mean or scratchy or aggressive. Just weird.
I don't even keep current with Grey's and I don't like Arizona at all!

  21. I went to a McDonald's last week with a Grimace on the wall, plus the fry guys! My kids were like who are they?

  22. Renee Zellweger...there just aren't any nice words for what she did to her pretty face :(

  23. I am with you about Monica. It makes me wonder WTH she thought people were going to say? "you sucked the blank of a married man, good for you". What a dummy

  24. The look on your son's face is hysterical. My 19 year old still doesn't like carving pumpkins because he hates the smell :)! Renee can do whatever she wants to her face, but I don't know why she won't just admit it?

  25. None of my kids like cleaning out pumpkin goop! They'd all make the same face as Tommy!
