Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To feel somewhat affronted when I see those "don't drink Shamrock Shakes!" articles going around Facebook. I guess it's made with disgusting stuff, but I don't care. The disgusting stuff is delicious.

--To still be in disbelief that my son is thirteen! Ack! And that he's on social media. Reading my stuff.

-To have enjoyed the season finale of How To Get Away With Murder. I wasn't sure if I liked the show in the beginning, so I'm glad I kept watching.

--To be ready for warmer weather. We might get snow again tomorrow.

--To look forward to Friday and Saturday. On Friday Natalie has Kid's Night Out at her gymnastics, so I'm taking Tommy out for dinner and we're watching The Hunger Games. On Saturday Natalie has a class where she learns more about having a sibling with special needs, so Tommy and I can go out to lunch. He appreciates alone time with me since his sister is loud.

--To be so happy The Following is back! It returned yesterday.

--To have ordered this fabulous cake for Tommy on his birthday. It was made by a fellow military wife! Her cakes are delicious.

  11. I don't understand people telling others not to eat or drink something in particular. It's not as if anyone thinks the Shamrock Shake is healthy! Sometimes you have to live a little!

  12. I haven't seen any of the don't drink Shamrock shakes posts- are they supposed to be any worse than the regular shakes? I mean, we all get that if we're drinking a shake from McD's, it's not healthy. But every once in a while? No big deal.

Can't believe Tommy is that old! I've been reading you for a long time.

I liked the season finale of How to Get Away with Murder, too. It was a show I didn't immediately get into and now I'm bummed it won't be back until the fall. I have The Following on my dvr, but I haven't watched it yet. Sometime this week.

  14. That cake is so adorable!
I've never even tried a Shamrock Shake. But if it has fat and all that stuff you aren't supposed to have because it gives you cellulite and a tire around your waist, I WANT IT. My dieting is driving me bananas. Oh god, a banana sounds good right now. Dammit diet. Damn you.

  17. Glad you're getting some one-on-one time with your son. That's cool that they have classes for siblings of kids with special needs. We're supposed to get more snow too. Ugh!

  18. Those same articles circulated around the fall - pumpkin spice latte time! Killjoys! In all honesty, I do think many companies can do better but that doesn't mean I don't indulge during holidays. I mean.. hello!
