Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

--To hope Tom's Mom is okay. Tom had to take emergency leave to be with her because a laparoscopic surgery she had went wrong. She was in pretty bad shape. Right now the doctor's put her at critically stable. She has yet to open her eyes yet so please send positive thoughts and prayers for her.

--To be glad my easy Elf On The Shelf ideas helped some people.

--To have brought out our Elf on the Shelf today. I couldn't do it any earlier. I just plain didn't want to.

--To not care about the shape of the Reeses Peanut Butter trees. I guess some people are whining that they look like poop or penis tips. I honestly do not care. So long as they are delicious, I'll eat them. And eat them I have!

--To have decorated my house with Christmas stuff. I have not done the outside yet because A) it's been too cold and B) Tom isn't here and I don't know what I'm doing.

--To want to see The Good Dinosaur. I usually can sit through a Pixar film without rolling my eyes. Some children's movies make me roll my eyes. A lot.

--To have reviewed this Snowball Fight In A Bucket from Personal Creations. Check out my review here! They were a lot of fun.

  1. I hope his mom is ok, that's scary stuff!

And I had no idea what the issue was with the Reese's trees. You're right, who cares.

And I just loled at penis tips. Apparently, I'm 12.

  3. The Reese's thing made me laugh too. I don't care at all about the shape! And haven't they always looked like tasty blobs? Unless I'm missing something.
So scary about Tom's mom. So she just did something routine that went very wrong? I'm thinking of her. I hope she opens her eyes today!

  4. LOL about Reese's. Maybe they should try dreidels next time. :)
Hope your MIL will be okay. Sending good thoughts.
I want to see Good Dinosaur too! I've heard you need to bring tissues. I saw the Peanuts movie and while it was cute, I would have probably waited for DVD if I were the one paying to see it.

  5. I don't actually care about the Reese's trees but honestly, they look awful. It's kind of hilarious that a company the size of that one made such ugly candy. They look like they all melted and they threw them in the freezer to reharden and then said "That's good enough!"

  8. I don't understand why people are freaking out over the trees. They've been around awhile. Why complain now? Shouldn't this have happened when they debuted?

  12. So sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. I hope she's doing better tonight. The Reese's tree debate is just another bunch of crap due to people who have too much time on their hands and have nothing better to do. I'm so sick of this politically correct BS that it's ridiculous. Love the snowballs and I LOVED your Elf on the Shelf ideas - I wish I had small kids to play this with. Ha ha

  17. I do not understand people complaining about Reece's peanut butter trees! Who acres what they look like!?!? They are chocolate covered peanut butter!

  18. I hope Tom's mom is okay and I don't care about the Reese's trees either! If we lived closer we could help each other with outside decorations. It's the busiest season at my husband's work and I know that putting up lights is not exactly easy or quick for him. I'd help if I wasn't an exterior illumination idiot!

  19. I want to see the Good Dinosaur movie, too!! If only you lived closer... :)

I really hope Tom's mom is okay. Sending prayers and good vibes your way! XO
