Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To hope everyone who is dealing with lots of snow are doing okay.

--To be curious about the X-Files re-boot. I never watched the original series. Could I watch this one and not be totally lost?

--To have ordered invitations for Natalie's birthday party on Etsy. She wanted Five Nights At Freddy's invitations and you can't buy those in stores.

--To not be watching ANY football. I always hear about the games on social media--some people are very passionate. I get it: I'm the same way about my books.

--To be glad I helped some people get some Minecraft Valentines on yesterday's blog post.

--To sometimes roll my eyes when a kid video wins America's Funniest Home Videos. Most of the time I find it annoying when other people are laughing hysterically.

--To be working to build my Pinterest and Facebook accounts. Consider following the pages if you haven't already. And if you don't want to, that's okay too ;)

--To have crafted again at the spouses meeting. Take the cardboard thing that comes with photo frames. Use that to cut out the uniform bit (make it a little larger so you can fold it), super glue it down, get a name tape, and you're done! Mind you, I did manage to mess this up, but one of the awesome key spouses helped me out. She knows I can't craft.

  2. That craft is super cute.
The X Files reboot is in our dvr. I was a huge superfan...but I'll let you know if it's something anyone can watch and not be totally confused.

  3. I have so little interest in the X-Files reboot I didn't even know it started again.

I also have no clue what Five Nights at Freddy's is. I feel I'm okay with this.

  4. We're surviving but it would be nice if all the snow was cleared from the roads. It's still quite a mess. I had to Uber to get someplace last night, as my husband's car couldn't get off our driveway due to how the road is really tight.
I used to watch X-Files for David Duchovny but am not interested now.

  5. That frame looks great! I've been crafting more- I'm not good at it, but there are enough simple crafts out there!

  7. Your picture frame turning out great!!!! I can't craft to save my life... I can maybe glue on some glitter to something but that's about it.

  8. I love the frame!
I am one of those football people you speak of, but I love books more. :) I really should join you today, considering I never did get to the post I had originally planned. WHOOPS!
    Happy Tuesday!
    XOXO

  9. I Liked your Facebook page!! I don't give 2 cents about Football and if I watch the Superbowl I will be on Twitter at the same time commenting about the commercials.

  10. Hey, you're crafting better than I ever could!
As for the X-Files, I'm sure you probably could start now, but there are so many subtle references and there's such a history. Maybe you can binge watch it! You know, with all the time in the world none of us have.

  11. Your frame looks great! I don't really care for football either...but I keep it kinda quiet, otherwise, I risk being ostracized by the entire Patriot's-watching community.

  12. X Files update: Yes and no, is the answer. Like someone above said, there are a lot of references to the past (along with characters that we all knew from the series/movies). However, it is sort of a new story...or a new beginning....so I think checking it out could not hurt! Plus, you can see if you like the series. X Files is something I found you either absolutely love or hate. You should check out Seasons 1-4 at some point. Those were my favorite. So many great episodes...The Host, Syzgy, Die Hand Die Verletz...and David Duchovney was in his prime. It was my fave show ever so of course, I want you to check it out! Haha. (I have a huge X File collection; so sad/so nerdy I know).
Oh and if you like the paranormal and weird stuff and monsters, Supernatural is the show for you lady! Plus, hot men are the stars. Can't beat that! Lol ;)

    1. Thank you so much for the info. I might check out Supernatural. It does have Rory's boyfriend from Gilmore Girls in it after all.

  13. I didn't watch xfiles the first time around either. I'm really not interested in it the second time. I love the frame. You're a better crafter than you give yourself credit for.

  14. I used to watch the X-Files religiously, so wonder what the reboot will be like...! The craft frame turned out super well!!

  15. Ugh, football...
I'm going to watch the pup bowl for sure! With cats performing half time. Cute stuff.
I also roll my eyes to funniest home videos. Either they've gotten more tacky or I was more amused as a kid to care. I do miss Bob Saget hosting years ago, haha.

  18. I'm not into football either. I have no idea who is even going to the superbowl this year!

  19. I have to admit, I'm a football watcher. Probably because I live in a house of men, so if I want to see them...
