Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!
-----------

--To have not made a special breakfast for Valentine's Day. We just went to Steak N Shake for lunch.

--To love that it's supposed to be warm all this week.

--To be glad I got to try out the Jenny Craig Weight Loss Starter Kit. You can check out my thoughts here.

--To have not watched the Grammys.

--To wonder if any of the couples on Married At First Sight are going to make it.

--To have gone on a date with Tom yesterday since the kids still had school. They had FRIED corn on the cob. And it was amazing.

--To love this letter Natalie wrote me:

  3. Supposed to warm up this week here too. Going to be in the 50s today. However, school was cancelled today because of yesterday's weather conditions. Hasty decision on their end, if you ask me.
I didn't see the Grammys either, but I watched the Hamilton opening act and loved that!

  4. Aw that letter!
I read a Reddit forum on Married at First Sight. It's all very staged. And these people on the show are liars...they get paid $700 a day union pay to be on a reality show.

  5. I usually watch the Grammys for the performances and with the exception of a couple, I was thoroughly disappointed. Not its best showing.

  6. I watched some of the Grammy's, they were pretty much meh. I turned it off after awhile.

  8. I didn't watch the Grammy's either. I figure if anything really dramatic happens it will be played 100 times over on yahoo! LOL

  9. One of our local restaurants has fried corn on the cob--it's amazing! I get it with mashed potatoes and apples--carb overload.

  10. Oh man, that fried corn looks so good! I didn't watch the Grammy's either. I have no interest. That letter from Natalie is super sweet!

  11. Fried corn on the cob! Hoo boy.
    I didn't watch the Grammy's either.
As for Steak n Shake, we don't have them here but my friend in Chicago says they put Five Guys to shame! Could this be true?? One thing I like about Five Guys, other than the taste, is that it's not true fast food and so it's (maybe) more healthy.

  21. I love fried corn on the cob. I didn't do anything special for Valentines Day. I didn't watch the Granny's but a guy I went to high school with won one.

  22. We went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast on Valentine's Day but that was only because Kyle had to work and I wanted to go to Target haha.

  23. I think I am officially too old to watch the Grammy's now. Which is sad since you are never too old to love music. No special breakfast here on Valentine's either -- we did that the next day which was a Family Day holiday here in Canada. Hubby and I have not even had a date yet because he's been working.
And I think it's totally cool and okay that our romantic movie will be Deadpool. :)

  24. Your letter from Natalie is too sweet. :) My son brought home a paper he wrote about an invention he made. The invention is a robot "The Clean-o-matic" that helps clean and cook dinner. :) He said, "Because Mommy you always have to sweep up all the time because our dog sheds too much." I love that kid.
My husband would LOVE that corncob!
