Hey, It's Okay!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog any day of the week. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.
-----------

--To be posting this a day early. How are you enjoying Columbus Day? Do your kids know Christopher Columbus was an awful man like mine do?

--To be excited about the new show American Housewife. It looks hilarious. I'm also thrilled that The Middle is back! I love that show. They start on Tuesday on ABC!

--To have taken my kids to Howl O Scream at Sea World. They're braver than I am. I'll write more about it this week!

--To think that Donald Trump needs to drop out. I think he's done too much damage. I don't like Hillary much either, but she's the lesser of the evils in my eyes.

--To be taking my kids out to lunch today since they have off. We'll probably go to BJs.

--To have posted a meme about Kim Kardashian and offended someone with it. I never like to offend someone, but if you're going to be rude, at least have the proper grammar. (You can see the meme here.)

  1. LOL at your "you're" correction. Agree on Trump, though I don't think he can drop out now.

  2. Hahahaha, the "you're" correction just made my day!

  3. Haha, every year my husband tellsy kids that Christopher Columbus was a terrible man and also an idiot who couldn't navigate his way out of a paper bag. I can't wait until the first time one of them goes off about it at school...that should be fun.

  4. We don't have Columbus day here...I hate it when people who leave rude messages on people's pages don't use proper grammar or spelling.

  5. Haha! Omg your grammar correction made my day! That would be me!

  6. Lol! You corrected the offended. :)

We don't have today, off. Lucky!

  7. It pains me when someone has a grammatical error, Physically pains me. Funny about Columbus, he was an awful person, as is Trump. That debate was a train wreck.

  9. Can't tell you how badly I'm waiting for American Housewife. That will going to be one good show.

  10. Columbus day is a controversy holiday here in Albuquerque as we have a high percentage of native americans here. I don't think the schools talk much about this day.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Haha, good on you for correcting them 🙌🏼 I also agree about Trump. X

  12. Can't wait to hear about the Sea World event! :)

  13. Omg, people are so weird about those Kartrashians. I can't stand them!

  14. It is REALLY ok to think that Donald Trump needs to drop out. He is a bad person and he can't be president.

  15. Hahahah, this is hilarious. When I was a middle school teacher, I was mad that we still had school on Columbus Day. So I made it into an "educational party" where I made cake and celebrated Columbus and did a mini history lesson. One of my students refused to celebrate Christopher Columbus' stupidity!

  16. Hehehe
Okay, this just might be one of my favorite post of yours!
So much is okay, so much is acceptable, heck, so much need to be done, so much speaking up need to happen, and I hope more people get this!

  18. I love the opening credit for the middle - just the center of the road and the word middle shows up. Perfect, says it all.

  19. I can't believe someone was offended by what your meme said. I actually thought it was funny and sad because Kim doesn't need all of that protection. It's insane. I hope you and your children enjoyed your outing for lunch!

  20. LOL Correcting grammar makes me laugh. I think it happens.

    ReplyDelete
  22. We don't know all people, sometimes people offended by correcting their grammar. Can't wait to hear about Sea World.

    ReplyDelete
  23. My kids are older now so they should know about Columbus.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hahahah totally its okay!

About Donald and Kim, I honestly admire them both for they have this fantastic skills on business and marketing.. yup only for those two factors.

  26. I really enjoy this post because I can relate to most of the things that you post about. It feels great to not be alone. Well, the internet gets easily offended so there's not luck there, lol. I just hope that before they react they check their grammar first. So true.

  30. I can't believe that Trump is still in the running to be honest. It's a scary prospect.

    ReplyDelete
  31. HAHA! I love your grammar correction. I agree, I can't believe he ever even made it....ugh...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Such a good post, I offend about my grammar lol

    ReplyDelete
  33. Great post! I think both Trump and Hillary should drop out. I am not voting for the lesser of the 2 evils because I think they are equally bad just in different ways. 3rd party or write in choice is what I am doing.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I love it (sarcastically said) when someone tries to insult others but can't even have correct grammar. The Grammar Warrior in me comes out!

    ReplyDelete
  35. As a school teacher we 'have' to teach about Columbus. These days it's changed to his mistakes (G-rated of course) and the impact that his 'discovery' had on the times.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I really enjoyed this post! It's awesome to be able to write down things like this. I'd love to learn more about that American Housewife show!

    ReplyDelete
  37. It's scary to think someone like Trump is a potential candidate for the presidency. It's horrifying to think there are millions of people who agree with him. It would be wonderful if he dropped!

    ReplyDelete
  38. The whole world is scared of Trump becoming President and are hoping there's enough Americans that will do the right thing.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh I love this idea! I'm sure I could come up with a big list!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Okay, first of all let's be real here.... People still get offended by meme's?! That's bloody hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I love The Middle! It is still one of my favorite comedies.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Scarlet got so confused. She said, "My first grade teacher said Columbus was a good man. My kindergarten teacher too. You? Not so much. Then the whole town went and changed it to Indigenous People's Day!"

(true story. My town is sooo hippie)

  43. I love the Middle too and I'm excited about the new show American Housewife. Very funn.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I haven't heard of American Housewife. Ive been one though. :)

    ReplyDelete

  46. I just saw the previews for American Housewife and it looks so good. Hopefully I'll be able to find time to sit down and watch it with my daughter.

  47. i know this isn't the main topic of the post but my family and I LOVE BJ's!! Anyways, I'm ok with doing that with my kids as well.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, now I"m going to have to look up that American Housewife show. It sounds like something up my alley big time!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah, I heard about the "robbery". Something tells me it was staged. Anytime she doesn't make the headlines, "something" happens to her or Kanye. They both scream for attention. Perfect couple in my eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Such a good tips! I really enjoy this post

    ReplyDelete
  51. LOL on correcting grammar! I once called someone out on grammar errors and people got mad at me. Sorry, but if you're going to talk about your kids getting a good education, that needs to start with proper grammar in the home!
I saw previews for American Housewife, but the actress' voice annoys me. I have enough shows as it is to keep up with!
    I agree, re: DT!

    ReplyDelete
  52. We don't talk about Colombus much in Australia. Why is he an idiot?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Based on the book I'm listening to right now, I love the idea of this meme :)
    Thanks for sharing.

  54. There are so many great Christopher Columbus memes on the Internet. I like the one that says, "Sorry, I assumed the Columbus Day Sale meant I could just walk in and take whatever I wanted." Also the one that says, "I plan to celebrate Columbus Day by walking into my neighbor's house and telling them we live there now."

    ReplyDelete
  55. I loved reading this! And I am in agreement about Columbus, which I had that day off:)
