How To Get A Teenager To Clean With A Wajt Najt Laundry Bag

**I was sent a laundry bag in exchange for an honest review.**

Look, I won't lie, sometimes it smells like an 100-year-old egg in my teenager's room. This is because he leaves dirty clothes everywhere. I've been making him gather everything up and placing them by the washer because hello, he has hands.

To make this easier, I gave him this bag to use.

He can put the dirty clothes into it and bring them downstairs to the washer. It's an easy way to get your teenager to clean their room. Remind them that if they want clean clothes and to NOT go to school smelling like a foot, well, then THEY are in charge of gathering everything. Most teenager's want to fit in so they will do this so they don't cause their peers to pinch their noses and shriek, "What reeks?" Some teenage boys just don't care though. These are the ones that usually smell like they've taking a bath with their cologne.

My son cares, at least. Sort of.

If you think the bag will help YOUR teenager clean, you can buy a Wajt Najt bag from Amazon. If you prefer other styles, you can check them out here. There is also a UK site that you can look at here. I like the company because it's family owned.

The bag we have is well made and the strap makes it easy for my teenager to hold. It also can hold quite a bit of stuff because it's huge, which is good, because teenage boys go through quite a bit of clothes. The bag can hold 15 pounds so if your kid gets behind in picking up their dirty clothes, have no fear, they'll fit! If you don't like the bag for any reason, there's an 100% satisfaction guarantee and you can return it.

Wajt Najt is giving away two free laundry bags!

  3. Uh, it's a laundry bag. You can buy a laundry bag at Walmart for $2.00. Is there anything you won't try to sell to get something for free?

    1. You can get a lot of things at Walmart that would do the job. Whether it be laundry, storage, clothing, etc. There's a reason why I buy products from some places and not others. Their visual appeal is important to me. ALSO, as a teacher, I've realized - over time - that some kids buy into things when they're promoted a certain way. If her son picks up his laundry because his bag isn't a $2 piece-of-crap from Walmart, its worth it.

Additionally, if you've got something rude to say, you should probably comment using your real name. Otherwise you're just a coward.

  5. I have three boys so we have a ton of laundry in our house - I feel like I am constantly doing laundry! And don't get me started about the smell - I have to Febreze their hampers every time I empty them!

  7. Assigning some duties to teenagers make them responsible too.
    The bag quality seems good.

  8. I could use a bag like this! The kids leave their clothes everywhere and it would be nice to get a little organized. This is definitely something that I would purchase.

  9. This is definitely a great idea especially if you have teens who just won't pick up their dirty clothes. I wouldn't mind getting one of these, or maybe even get two or three.

  10. Ooh, these are cute! They have one that says, "It's all about the lifestyle." My teen would love that! I wish they came in pink though - then she might actually use it.

  11. I think that I need one of these for my husband! I feel like his laundry always ends up on the floor on his side of the bed and not in our basket.

  13. I shudder to think about teenagers' rooms. At least you found a way to make it work! That gives me hope!

  14. This looks like such a great laundry bag. The size of it looks like it would fit a decent amount in too.

  15. My husband would suggest that I could probably benefit from something like this. Oops. Luckily, our apartment is small enough that it's only a few steps away to throw it in the hamper or throw it directly in the laundry machine!

  16. That bag is the perfect idea! It gets him to do at least half of the work. Just make sure you teach him how to do his own laundry before the age of 30. While that may sound funny, I've met men over here in Spain over 30 who don't know how to do their laundry. While it is a cultural thing, I'm still just like .......

  17. We had a bag like this for my teen. It worked for the first couple months, then the bag got a hole, then it got lost, then found, then lost again. Last time I found it I threw it out, because the reek coming off it was terrible. Someday I will figure out how to get him to pick up his laundry, or he will grow up and move out, either one works.

  18. Haha I remember my brother used to just put his laundry where he just want to then my mom literally gave me a bag just like this. Indeed a nice idea to clean-up the laundry mess. - ANOSA

  19. Maybe I should get 3 of those bags. One for each of us.. We are slobs... There are clothes everywhere. Clean and unfolded in piles that at times seem to take over the house.. And dirty on the floor of the bathroom, and our bedrooms...

  20. That's a great idea for the kids and adults alike! With 4 kids, we've always got dirty laundry, but my kids are amazingly with that. My oldest, who is 16, is probably the tidiest of the lot.

  23. I don't need the bag, but I did do this with my daughter when she was a teen. She never put anything in the laundry hamper and one day she asked me where a certain shirt was and I asked her did you check that pile of clothes on your floor, she checked and yep there it was and she asked why I didn't wash her clothes and I explained to her that if her clothes were not in the hamper, they would not be washed because it was not my responsibility to clean her room and gather her clothes. That's when I taught her how to do her own laundry! LOL Hey you gotta do what needs to be done to get them to learn it is their responsibility not ours to gather their laundry. :)

  24. I haven't got a teenager at the house, but I'm sure bag like that could be really useful. At least for moms!:)

  25. Perfect not only for messy teenagers at home but for college age kids who have to schlep their laundry to the laundry room (or bring it home to mom's washing machine on the weekends. Sure is a lot easier to manage than a stiff, plastic laundry basket.

  26. Wow I needed this when ALL my children were teenagers. It was like pulling teeth to get them to carry their dirty laundry from their room to the laundry room

  34. I love simple bags. This bag is too big for us though. We do our laundry every time we have a load.. which is basically everything we own. Ha.

  35. At first it looked small but when you showed it with your son holding it....it looks huge.

  37. Great idea providing he can find it LOL, does not take up as much room as a laundry basket either.
