Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

Hey, It's Okay....

...to have to wait to see the new Star Wars movie because my husband has to work. Actually, I am NOT okay with it. If I were mean, I'd just go see it with the kids, but I promised I'd wait for him.

....to be going to Six Flags this weekend to check out their Christmas displays.

....to have laughed when Natalie asked if I wanted to be a parent volunteer for her school play to make costumes. I don't sew. I go online and buy.

....to be celebrating my wedding anniversary on Sunday. That's when we're going to Six Flags, as well as going out to eat. The kids will be with us, but hey, that's okay!

....to have taken Natalie to Sea World and had dinner with Rudolph and friends. It was a fun time. I pigged out on all the cookies they had out. They kept bringing in trays of them.

  3. My husband went to see Star Wars without me or my daughters. He had gotten two tickets to opening day and instead he kept my son out of school, I was so devastated.

  4. I am holding off on seeing the new star wars movie, but only because I hate to go in crowds, so I am waiting for the hype to die down for a few weeks before I go.

  5. Congrats on celebrating your wedding anniversary, even if you do take the kids along. So many times my husband and I have skipped celebrating because life got in the way, and it's worth celebrating! Congrats!

  7. Star Wars has ben picked for our family Christmas movie. Now the fun begins trying to find an open night for 5 kids and 5 grandkids to all get together. This should be a blast and a half.

  9. We are super excited to see Star Wars, but won't see it opening night. Perhaps that Sunday, when the crowd won't be too bad.

  10. How fun at Sea World! I wish we lived near one. We went this summer in FL and had so much fun - just not enough time to explore every nook and area!

  11. We were going to do Six Flags this weekend to check it out. Then it decided to go from high 60's to a chance of snow so we are skipping that one.

  33. Not sure if your posts are tongue in cheek, but BB totally loves this. Nice to see a real side of parenting, which perfection and always being polite is not! BB2U

  34. I'll have to try and do this too. I really need to think about things I am "okay" with instead of being stressed out about things I'm not okay with so much. It might help my stress levels!

  35. Happy anniversary! We celebrated ours with our daughter as well but as you said, that's OK!

  36. I have to go back here and let my cousin know about your plans. They will be celebrating their anniversary and thinking of what to do. Currently they a have a little toddler so I suggest to her why not do the same on their celebration.
