Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

Hey, It's Okay....

....to be watching Celebrity Big Brother. Omarosa is as pleasant as you'd imagine.

....to be going to The Cheesecake Factory with Natalie and my Mom this weekend. Yum!

....to not be watching a lot of the Winter Olympics, but I do marvel on the talent of the people! I watch the news so I see highlights.

....to have booked our Disney World vacation for October. Hopefully they'll have a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party when we go!

....to be going to a fancy restaurant on Valentine's Day--I'm kidding. Hell no. I want to stay in sweats. I'm ordering pizza.

....to have gone to Natalie's Halloween party at her school and thought it was funny that she wrote this on the white board. She loves Stranger Things!

  4. The Olympics have been on my tv almost 24/7. I LOVE them and can't get enough, but I totally get that not everyone likes them like I do :)

  6. I love that you're bonding with your mom and daughter this weekend! I wish I could do that with my kids but they live a little farther away and would have to travel.

  7. Winter Olympics watching FOR THE WIN! Seriously!! I was on the path to going to the Olympics for snowboarding back in the day, so I watched the half pipe last night and got a bit nostalgic. That being said, I wouldn't give up my current life to do that honestly, it's insanely hard work and I give the pros these days SOOOO MUCH credit!

  8. I just told myself "it's okay that you're reading blogs this morning and purposely avoiding a shower." Cute post thanks for the inspiration.

  10. At a recent get-together, I felt so bad that everyone was up-to-date on the Olympics and I wasn't. But honestly, I haven't had time - I've been up to my neck in work! I got to catch some of the snowboarding last night which was really cool.

  11. Love your weekly Hey It's Okay posts. Confession, I turned from the Olympics to CBB and got sucked into CBB last night. Seeing Keshia beg to leave was sad but I was glad she got her wish.

  12. It’s a great show! We aren’t even through season two yet so there are still some to look forward to before three. I haven’t been really watching the Olympics either but I definitely think it’s cool!

  14. I am not following the winter Olympics either. I don't follow the summer ones either. And that's ok, I am not someone who is interested in sports that much.

  15. Ha ha, I'm going to Olive Garden on Valentines day but only for lunch and only because I have a gift card, and yes it will be with my husband. I'm also going to say its okay that as I sit here typing I have a tissue shoved up one nostril...I'm fighting a horrible terrible no good cold.

  18. Our Valentine's Day tradition is to eat a heart shaped pizza and I can't wait. We are especially excited to watch the Olympics while digging in--we can't get enough!

  19. Hey its okay we have booked both our trips for this year. To want winter to end because I am so tired of the snow and cold.

  20. Oh Omarosa - I remember she was quite the character on the Apprentice. I didn't know she was back on reality TV! Canada has been doing good so far at the Olympics, I catch glimpses of it each day on the news as well.

  21. I want to go to the Cheesecake factory! Love their food! I admit that I have not watched any of the winter Olympics either, I do enjoy the ice skating but just have not had the time to watch any of it this year.

  24. Doing a post like this is just good for the soul! Sometimes we don't give ourselves enough credit. Or we are too hard on ourselves! This post could totally help with that!

  25. Ohhhh Cheesecake Factory sounds soo good!

  26. Disney in October is such a bright idea especially if they do have a Halloween offering. I'll just follow the winter Olympics via feeds instead of watching it.

  27. I'm glad I'm not the only one not really watching the Olympics. I just haven't had time and I'm not going to lie, it doesn't feel important enough to make a priority.

  34. It's okay to finish the dishes in the AM sometimes. It's gross, but okay to do sometimes.
It's okay to finish your children's Valentine Day craft before doing your work. One can wait, and it isn't those sweet babies!

  35. We are ordering pizza tonight also! Valentines day in our household is just our daughters birthday, we celebrate love everyday. Thanks for sharing, it was a fun read.

  37. I tried to get my daughter to do pizza tonight but she balked at it. She decided she didn't want to do that. Ah well.

  38. Stranger things is awesome! I really enjoy watching it and it's also safe to watch with the kids so long as you warn them about certain words used in the show. I think it's really nice that you booked for October! Disney is awesome during that time!!!

  39. We made dinner toghter as a family last night. Babe and I didn't exchange gifts, I was perfectly fine with that. We had a good time in the house.
