Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

Hey, It's Okay....

....to be going to the rodeo this week with my Mom and kids! We're also seeing Jeff Dunham perform.

.....to have had a pretty relaxing President's Day weekend. On Saturday we went to the mall with my Mom and ate at the Cheesecake Factory. On Monday I took the kids to In-N-Out burger.

....to be going to Natalie's parent/teacher conference this week. Wish me luck! I never know how they'll go. Normally they start off with, "Natalie is a sweet student..BUT.." (She daydreams. A lot.)

....to have thought Fergie's performance of the National Anthem was overly dramatic. Just sing the song, Fergie.

.....to pig out at In-N-Out burger. I get my burger animal style!

  1. We've seen Jeff Dunham live a few times and he is GREAT. Not the kids, of course, but my husband and I love him.

  2. I thought Fergie was a disaster! I actually felt sorry for her and embarrassed and found myself wishing it would all end. It was just way weird.

  3. Jeff Dunham will be totally worth watching, we loved him when we went and saw him perform. Never disappoints. Fergie was a flop.

  4. I would love to see that comic! Jeff is probably one of my favorites. He cracks me up from the minute he starts to the minute he ends.

  5. Sounds like an awesome plan with your mom and kids. It's nice to know that you had a pretty relaxing weekend with the family as well. In n Out is a nice treat after a stressful week!

  7. In all of my trips out west. I've never ever ate at In & Out Burger. It's super crazy that I haven't. However, on most of those trips I was a vegetarian. It's on my bucket list now.

  11. We have a Cheesecake Factory here and I still haven't gone! We don't really follow sports so we didn't hear about the Fergie disaster until the next day. Holy cow. Have fun at the rodeo! Jeff Dunham will be a great show too.. :-)

  15. Ok, let's talk about Fergie's performance. I missed it but my kid and hubby were watching the game and my kid burst out laughing so loud I had to ask what was so funny. OMG! It was too much. She was all over the place. Original yes. No one and I mean NO ONE ever sang the National Anthem quite the way she did.

  16. Fergi thought she was a cabaret singer.

We totally lazed around President’s weekend and that was the best but

  17. Hey, it's okay to have a whole day of Me-time! I know most moms feel guilty about this but moms deserve a break too.

  20. The rodeo sounds like a lot of fun! I'm sure you enjoyed Cheesecake Factory as well. I really can't say anything good about Fergie's performance. Is that how she sings these days?

  23. I had to feel for Fergie. I get that she is an artist and wanted to celebrate American jazz, but why doesn't she have that one person who can tell her the truth that it sucked? Because someone in her close circle knew it.

  24. I have not never been to any rodeo show, it would be awesome to experience it. I only see it on TV.

  25. I wish we lived closer to an In and Out burger because it would be so great to splurge on that right now. It has been a rough week and I'm running on fumes. I will settle for a slice of deep dish pizza, though.

  26. I was a daydreamer like your daughter growing up and that is a sign the school is not giving her enough of a creative outcome. Good luck with that and also I never had In and Out Burger animal style.

  31. In and out isn't super popular where I live. I haven't had much of it but It smells so good! Need to go to the west cost more often. Thanks for sharing, I love your "Hey its okay" list/series.

  32. Hope the conference went well. :) Sounds like you've been getting a lot of great food lately.

  33. I couldn't stop cringing at Fergie's performance. To me a National Anthem should be sung with pride, and she made it into a bit of a joke :/

That food looks yummy wish we had In n Out here! - Jeanine
