Review: Burger Boy In San Antonio, Texas

I admit it, I love to eat. There's no way I could ever go on a diet. I need to be able to consume what I want. Granted, because of this, I do have to jog daily so I can fit into my pants. It's not my favorite thing to do, but I'll do it so I can eat.

Burger Boy opened near us, and I knew I wanted to try it. There was another location downtown, but we had never gone, but I would always hear how delicious the food was.

First of all, it had a neat building:

My husband realized I was taking a photo soon after and was like, "What are you doing?" I told him I was doing a blog post and he went, "Of the building?" and I went, "Yes! It needs to be included! It's cool!"

Tom doesn't understand sometimes.

It's pretty fabulous inside too. Nice and clean. Plus they had Coke products, which always thrills me.

So obviously the place is called Burger Boy because they are known for burgers. But I decided I wanted to try a corn dog. My husband and son got a burger, and my daughter tried the grilled cheese kids meal.

Here's the menu. As you see, if you don't want a burger, there are corn dogs, hot dogs, grilled cheese, and a fish sandwich.

Our food came in about ten minutes. The burgers are made fresh.

My son has autism, and he can be picky about food, but he loved his burger. My husband says his was good as well.

How was my corn dog?

Well.

I liked it! It was dipped in a scrumptious batter.

The fries are the crinkle cut, and I was a fan.

I asked my daughter how her food was, and I was ignored. She was taking a photo of it for her friend. Naturally.

But then she tried a bite.

"I love it!" she went. "Very cheesy!"

I also decided to try the Orange Freeze, which they are apparently famous for.

It's basically an orange slushie, but the flavor seems more intense than a regular slushie. I only had a few sips because Natalie took it from me.

It's okay though, because I also wanted to try a milkshake. I opted for the Neapolitan flavor.

You could taste the various flavors, and it was fabulous. Even better, Burger Boy did a military discount, which is always nice and appreciated. All the workers there were friendly.

Would we go back?

Yes!

Have you ever tried Burger Boy before?
