The student needs to take the reins and come to him to discuss the grade. He won't change anything just because a parent tried to take over and complain. Kids need that type of independence taught them! Kudos to you for making her do it herself!!! I really don't understand when parents practically complete an entire project for their kids. I mean how is that teaching kids valuable skills in the long run. I remember my middle daughter's kindergarten project for 100th day. She loves shopping and giving gifts. So we got a cute gift bag and fake money. She glued 100 fake bills around it with it stuffed with paper. Because I volunteered at the school I saw other projects. A kid built a dinosaur that was taller than him. The 100 items were something around it (forgot exactly what it was). You could tell that the entire thing was done by an adult. And because I volunteered in the class this child was no where as neat and precise as the project was. The best part...the teacher noted, "great job mom and dad".

MomJonz
Amomsblog.comGent-N-Divas Stylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06651500882356886449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5910185897876102936.post-70703225882337124992016-01-14T06:41:25.461-07:002016-01-14T06:41:25.461-07:00Awe, so adorable and great project!
