**Winner announced here**
My daughter cannot wait for tomorrow to come.
Why?
Because that’s the day that Disney’s Tangled is released on DVD!
She’s been waiting (impatiently) for the movie to come out. We saw it in the theater and she instantly loved it. She now owns the following: Tangled pajamas, Tangled clothing, Tangled Barbies, a Tangled hairbrush…
Tangled, if you didn’t know, is a modern day tale of Rapunzel. You know, the chick with all the hair? If I had all that hair, I’d trip over it, mark my words. Anyway, Rapunzel is hidden away in a tower by her slighty freaky looking mother. One day Flynn Ryder, a handsome thief, climbs into the tower to escape his captors and well…chaos ensues. Hilarious chaos. The movie is filled with singing, dancing, and an amusing horse named Maximus (the boys will love him! My son was worried the movie was too girly but he admitted that Maximus the horse made it okay…)
Guess what? I have a Blu-Ray copy to give away.
Here are the features:
DVD
• 2 original storybook openings
• 50th Animated Countdown
2-Disc BD Combo Pack (BD+DVD)
• DVD features plus
• 3 deleted scenes
• The Making of a Fairy Tale
• 2 extended songs
• 9 Theatrical Teasers
Be sure to check out the awesome widget as well! It's a preview of the movie so you can see how hilarious it is. (Is it wrong that I find Flynn Ryder attractive? My husband has been gone too long..) You can also discover hidden talents that you might not be aware you even have. Maybe this means I'm a better cook than I think...
To be eligible to win the Blu-Ray copy of Tangled, please leave a comment telling me who your favorite Disney princess is. For an extra entry, leave me a comment telling me about one of YOUR hidden talents. Please leave the entries separate and make sure you leave your e-mail address if it's not connected to your blog.
Contest runs until April 6th! Good luck!
That's awesome! My daughter has been wanting to see it and we never made it to the movie theaters to see it. She can recite the trailers by memory!

I know almost nothing about Disney princesses these days. My favorite movie scene involving princesses is in Shrek or Shrek 2 where all the women are held captive and their personalities come out in hilarious ways. Hidden talent? I can build a great castle out of Bristle Blocks OR Duplos. :-)
ReplyDeleteDisney or bust! Hope you all enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteMy hidden talent is my crazy memory of random things. I love trivia, and I can remember the littlest detail about someone's life, or of an event. The big picture? Not so much.
ReplyDeleteOh, I also can't hear voices very well usually, but I can hear my phone beep on the other side of the house. Maybe that just means I'm deaf? :P
My favorite princess is a toss up between Belle and Tiana. Belle because she likes to read and doesn't fall in love based on looks. And tiana because she's hard working and follows her dreams.
ReplyDeleteMy hidden talent is that I can speak and read Russian
ReplyDeleteMy favorite princess has always been Cinderella. I think it must have something to do with my age since I am 50 and Cinderella is one of the older princesses. It could also be because her name and my first name are similar. Now I am living the total princess experience through my own princess, my 4 year old granddaughter Makayla :)

My favorite Disney Princess is Ariel from The Little Mermaid!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite princess would have to be sleeping beauty,She pricks her finger and falls into a deep sleep but a handsome prince finds and awakens her with true loves kiss. Another part I love is when the 2 fairy godmothers argue over what color to make her dress and it winds up being half pink half blue lol. My email is bubblyfungirl@hotmail.com

My favorite princess is Belle. Skye looks just like her and that's who she chose for her Princess makeover at Disneyland on her 5th birthday. I even have a picture of her with the "real Belle" at Ariel's Grotto.
ReplyDeleteHidden talent: my ability to slam dunk a basketball even though I am only 5'2". This talent is so well hidden that I don't even know about it and thus have never attempted it.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite was always Ariel...and for some reason when I typed that, I picture Sebastian saying "Areeeyelll." Okay, I'm done.
Hidden talent? I can write with both my left and right hand. Thank you broken arm in 6th grade.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Disney princess is Pocahontas! She is always excluded from the typical princess merchandising but she is still a princess! She is beautiful (as the all are lol) and she is strong, smart and free-spirited. She is the type of character I wouldn't cringe having a daughter look up to. She respects the Earth and knows everything is connected. Plus, what other princess would dive off a waterfall like her hmm? Definitely the best princess for sure! misssbellavita@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteMy husband loves that I can spell anything. Even if I've never seen the word before, I can spell it correctly.
I also have an incredible sense of smell. If someone is grilling, I can tell you what they're cooking and if it's done yet. It applies to much more than grills, but it's handy sometimes.
you always do the coolest stuff. Let's see.... I would have to say it's between Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. I like the Sleeping Beauty movie better, but everybody thought I looked like Snow White as a kid :)

Alice! Oh wait... she's not a princess.... which means there is almost no merchandise for her... which makes me very sad. :( If I have to choose a princess, I suppose I'll pick Princess Aurora, because she has the coolest name AND she danced to 'The Waltz of Sleeping Beauty' one of my favorite classical pieces.

ReplyDeleteAnd I had a huge crush on John Smith from Pocohontas growing up. He was cute!
My hidden talent is I can have both of my kids home, fed, bathed, teeth brushed, books read and asleep by seven when I don't get off work until five. It's a challenge, but it's worth it to have those kid free hours after they go to bed.
