Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

-------------

To not care about football. I get annoyed when it takes over my television shows.

To have had my first pumpkin spice frappuccino of the season. It was delicious. I want another one.

To not feel guilty that I threw away Natalie’s school fundraiser crap because I just wrote tons of checks to the school for a t-shirt, pickles, and school pictures. Plus she buys cupcakes throughout the year too.

To wonder why no one vacuums in the Big Brother house. Have you seen the floors? Yuck. Or maybe there is no vacuum? If not, they should put one in. Product placement, you know. Put a Dyson in there…

To not care about the casting for Fifty Shades of Gray. I read the books. They were okay. But I’m sorry, no one has that much sex and the period sex scene just grossed the hell out of me so I’m not even sure if I’d even see the movie.

To have noticed a lot of actors from Gilmore Girls have popped up on Scandal. I’ve seen Logan Huntzberger’s father, Lane, and Paris so far.

To be almost done with Scandal season 2. I actually just started watching the show since people raved about it. I love it! I’ll be all ready for season 3. If you’ve never seen it, you should! Though I do not like the cheating. I know people are like, “Aw, they love each other,” but it’s still wrong.

  2. I'm already sick of football. I hate it. I got rid of some of my daughter's fund raiser stuff too. Too much all at once.

  3. I don't hate football season so much as how my husband watches football ... which is LOUDLY and by YELLING at the teams on tv. Plus, because football and baseball overlap, if there happens to be a Yankee game on, he watches that at the same time on his laptop ... LOUDLY and by YELLING at the teams. Sports are a noisy affair at my house ...

  6. I don't watch Scandal. So you say I'm missing something, huh? I'll have to get the DVD's from the library.

Have you read Lauren Graham's book that came out about a month ago? It got good reviews, but I just couldn't get into it.

  7. Haha! Love this!
I've wondered the same thing about the BB house. So dirty this season!

  8. Gilmore Girls and Scandal should have a crossover show! (not really)
I had my first hot pumpkin spice latte yesterday. I had had an iced one last week. And I had the Dunkin version in both hot and cold.
I don't even know if I love the taste as much as I love the concept!

  9. I live 50 miles from the nearest Starbucks. I am so sad. The next time I'm in a big city, I will be ordering a Salted Caramel Frappuccino!

Ewww. I never read 50 Shades of Gray but I am grossed out already!

I miss Gilmore Girls! I own the DVDs and sometimes I catch it when the reruns are on...I mean I do nothing all day other than watch Gilmore Girls!! ;)

  10. I feel like I should watch Scandal because everyone and their mother has seen it! I really need to join on the cool tv watching bandwagon!

And speaking of uncool...I haven't read 50 shades of gray. I am grossed out about period sex in general. Are you even freaking kidding me that they made that glamorous. Stop the truck.

    I loved the Gilmore Girls.

It's ok that I had 3 reece's peanut butter cups instead of supper tonight, right? Not 2, 3. : (

  11. I read 50 Shades of Gray and was kind of disappointed, I mean there was very little depth but then what again did I expect. I agree the movie sounds like it could just nasty.

  12. I need to go to Starbucks and get me something with pumpkin spice in it!
I'm with you on not caring about the cast for 50 Shades of Grey. I will probably watch the movie, but I don't know how they will make it not rated X! There were quite a few sex "scenes" that had me a little freaked ha ha!
Scandal is a great show!! I still need to watch season 2!

  13. I love this segment in Glamour! I'm with you about 50 shades. I loved the books, but I don't really want to see it on screen. The imagination is what makes it so appealing, I think. Why ruin it with real people?

  14. I also like Scandal. I got into watching it last year.

  16. Pumpkin Spice Lattes are overrated...now, Salted Caramel... =)

  17. If I was even mildly interested in 50 Shades, you just killed it with the period sex scene. Yes, it's ok to not care about that! LOL!

  18. It's okay that I don't like football and only dabble in Nascar. It's okay that I have not read 50 shades of Gray.
Love your list!! Thanks for sharing!!

  19. I still haven't read 50 shades ....
Can't wait for the new season of Scandal!

  20. Haven't seen scandal. I don't get football. Pumpkin spice coffee flavor - not my thing. And 50 shades - well, that is where we differ my dear...I LOVE LOVE the books and can't wait for the movies...I won't hold your lack of enthusiasm for the books/movie against you. ;-)

  21. Love me some Scandal. Netflix baby!!! The 50 Shades...yes not realistic, nobody has that much sex. Not if they have a job and a life anyways.
