Inside Natalie's Closet: A Bunch Of Frozen Stuff (Anna Coronation Dress!)

So Frozen was released on DVD Tuesday.

Of course we bought a copy.

My daughter has loved Frozen since she saw it in theaters back in November.

This means we own a lot of clothing with Frozen characters on it.

She got the Anna coronation dress for her seventh birthday.

"Anna doesn't want to," Natalie muttered.

Sometimes getting her to take photos is not easy. Sometimes even fart noises don't help.

"You're upsetting everybody," Natalie said dramatically.

But because Natalie is already PMSing (I swear it, she is!) a second later she did this:

I don't always get her.

I imagine it's how my husband feels about me sometimes.

Anyway, the dress is awesome. I got it at the Disney Store.

I know right now it's difficult to get Frozen items. But I'm told more should be available soon.

And bonus?

It has a twirlability factor!

I had a birthday outfit made for Natalie. I purchased it from a store on Etsy called Lightning Bug Lane Designs.

PMS kicked in and...

"I just can't..."

So I took Natalie's toy sea horse and pretended to poop it out.

I know. Ew. But I swear, the seahorse was okay...

Anyhow, I tried not to laugh when people asked me if I made Natalie's outfit. No. I cannot sew. I cannot craft.

Bonus! This outfit also has a twirlability factor. (This is important to Natalie. And to a lot of little girls.)

So because I can't sew or craft or commit to one birthday outfit. I had another made.

This one was made from a place on Facebook called Michaela's Boutique. How do I find these people? Oh, I'm just apart of many, many custom clothing groups. I have problems. Some women spend money on shoes. I spend money on custom clothing for my kids.

(Yes, I made farting noises here.)

See the curls? I did not do them. Snip-Its did. Natalie wanted to go there on her birthday for a trim and the curls. Oh, and sparkles. They added sparkles too.

And then Natalie made a farting noise:

As I've said many times, we're a classy family...

I also picked up balloons on Natalie's birthday and had her pose with them.

Of course they are Frozen themed. (Is anyone else tired of the movie yet?)

I constantly have the songs stuck in my head. Help! I don't know if I'm elated or gassy! (I said this to my husband and he was all, "TMI." He didn't realize it was from a song.)

Have a Frozen filled weekend! Seriously, if you've never seen the movie, I do recommend it.

"I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face!"

Anna understands. Anna gets it.

  2. She looks adorable! I love that the balloons match her dress. I'm currently waiting for Disney to release the 3D version in October before I buy a copy of the movie though.

  4. Frozen has taken over our house too. It's everywhere. There's not stopping it.

  5. I finally saw the movie on my plane ride the other day. It's cute, but I didn't think it was as amazing as all the hype. There are other Disney movies that I love more. I can't wait to (hopefully) have a little girl though and share in the girlie stuff and dress up. Looks like she had a great birthday!

  7. I can see how you would have a hard time picking just one birthday outfit!!! They are all so dang cute!
Love the curls - I was going to be beyond impressed if you did that! (hair and I don't get along well!)
We haven't seen the movie - 2 teen age boys said "NO." Maybe I will watch it myself sometime.

  8. you have such a beautiful daughter. :) i love the outfits.
have you ever seen that commercial where the little girl is in the car and the dad is handing her the keys but he sees her as 5, meanwhile she is a teenager? that is going to be you and tom in a few years. :)

  9. Love the outfits but the hair (how did you twirl it so nicely?) was really really pretty.

  10. I have the opposite problem with my stepkids. They always want their picture taken, even if it's just standing in line at Walmart. I have millions of pictures of the kids doing mundane things.

I haven't seen Frozen yet, but I have been told several times to watch it, so eventually I will!

  11. Well done here! What a fun array of photos. Total twirlability factor too.
I love the glitter in her hair. And the pooping out the seahorse. I may have to try that with my tough clients.

  13. I LOVED Frozen!
    Your pictures are marvelous.
And I too love the twirlability factor.
For me. I can't seem to find any in my age. Yeah. I'll be 60 this year.
But if I could, I would twirl.

  15. Twirling is awesome - I miss wearing dresses that twirl. We're in love with Frozen at our house too - but my 15 year old would not wear a custom dress :) She does walk around the house singing Do You Want to Build a Snowman though!

  16. I bought the movie and watched it for the first time. My girls had planned a spring tea party for Saturday, and since we woke up to a snow blizzard: it was perfect!! It was like Elsa was singing right out on our front lawn and surrounding the house in snow!
But no. Could not find a single item in the stores related to the movie.
not even a darn sticker! So I bought ice cream cone shaped sidewalk chalk.
    I tried.

  19. That first dress is so gorgeous- you wouldn't even know it's from a Disney movie if you haven't seen it.
