My Teenager Smiled And It's Because Of Disney World






I'm sure you've heard all about how magical Disney World is.

I mean, the castle is breathtaking:





But there's another reason why Disney World is magical.


My teenager smiles there. Genuine smiles where I can see his dimples.


Sometimes I wonder if he's forgotten how to smile because I get looks like this:





But at Disney World, he's full of excitement. On the plane ride over, he had a wide grin on his face.



I'm grimacing because of the turbulence. He loved it.



Tommy did full belly laughs at the Coke store at Disney Springs because he was mixing gross concoctions and making his sister and I try them:




Laughing.



Smiling.



He even chuckled with his sister. They were....GETTING ALONG!




He gave genuine hugs to certain characters:




Yes. Disney World is a magical place.




And we can't wait to go back.

  6. Glad you young man loves Disneyland. Wish to visit the Hk Disneyland and appreciate its landscapes and garden and architectures. Minus the rides :)

  19. My teen isn't all that smiley these days either - I'm glad to see Tommy had such a great time at Disney. Beyond that, and mother to mother, I'm to see YOU had such a great time too.

  21. Funny you should say that. My daughter doesn't like smiling for my blog posts when I ask her to model for me. But when we're at Disney, she's smiling away!

  27. It's been a while since I last visited your blog. I'm glad to see the kids doing well and so happy. We booked our trip for August and although it will likely be hot as ever, I just know we are all going to have a blast! :)

  31. That is so awesome. We have Disneyland here, but we really are wanting to make the trek out to Walt Disney World. We do hope to be able to sometime soon.

  33. Adventure and childhood memories are often enough to bring us our smile back! :) We are 30 and still act like kids when in Disney World. Some of us never grow up!
