Cool Things We Saw At Pixar Fest

We've always been a fan of Pixar movies. Who doesn't love Toy Story or Monsters Inc? When we went to Disneyland, Pixar Fest was going on and they had lots of cool set ups.

For example, they had this area that looked like a drive in movie at California Adventure. Obviously they'd play Pixar movies:

Natalie pretended she was driving and tossed her scarf in the air:

We also found wonderful artwork painted by talented people:

Downtown Disney had this photo op:

There was special food based on Pixar movies. Sadly, we were so full from eating other things that we never got to try them, but some sounded interesting:

We absolutely LOVED seeing special characters. Like Mei Lei and her mom from Turning Red:

Meeting Luca and Alberto from Luca was a blast:

They were so interactive and kind:

There was also a special Pixar Fest parade and Natalie freaked out when she saw 4 Town from Turning Red. I think the one called Robaire blew her a kiss? I'm not totally sure of the names, I just know she was screaming at the top of her lungs:

It was a short but cute parade with characters from all the popular Pixar films:

Sadly, Pixar Fest ended August 4th, but I think they do one every year, so you might get lucky in 2025.

What's your favorite Pixar movie? I don't think I can pick one. There's so many I enjoy.

  1. The characters are always so much fun to see in photos. It looks like you had such a great time. I'd have to go when I wasn't full to try the special food based on Pixar movies.

  6. Pixar fest will not disappoint you on things you will see because you will feel you are there in that cartoons or the things you only watch in the screen are able to see on real time.
