Musee Du Parfum Fragonard In Paris

My daughter loves perfume. She owns many bottles. I think I own one? Maybe? I'll be honest, I mostly stick to the sprays from Bath & Body Works. But Natalie, she's always had more expensive tastes than I do. She has perfumes from Ralph Lauren, Billie Eilish, Judy Garland...

When we were in Paris, one of the activities was to visit a perfume museum. Natalie was thrilled over this! It was called the Musee Du Parfum Fragonard and it's FREE.

She was even more excited when we got a free sample when we walked in.

It did smell incredible. It reminded me of florals in the spring.

We also learned the history of perfume--it's been around for centuries. It was neat to see the bottles from back in the day as well. And yes, our guide spoke in English. They do have English tours.

There's Marie Antionette. She loved perfume, as did her husband.

Look at all these beautiful bottles:

The tour took about 30 minutes or so and then we were led to the store where we could purchase the perfumes that are made by the company. We were given samples of a bunch of them.

In the end, Natalie went with one that was described as vintage called Belle de Nuit. It is described as a rich harmony of fruits & flowers. As you know, Natalie loves her vintage clothes, so it's fitting she went with the perfume.

If you're in Paris, I recommend the perfume tour--or if you'd rather not do the tour, anyone is welcome into the Fragonard store. There are perfumes, soaps, and other items that smell incredible. Yes, you can order online as well if you cannot make it. Natalie would recommend the soaps and the Belle de Nuit perfume.

  37. What a lovely way to spend part of a Paris trip—and free, too! I love that Natalie’s vintage aesthetic carried over to her perfume choice with Belle de Nuit. The bit about the English tours is super helpful for planning, and I appreciate the tip that you can just pop into the store even without doing the tour. It sounds like the perfect stop for anyone who wants a sensory souvenir without the museum fatigue. I’ll definitely keep this in mind for my own visit, especially since the samples sound like a great bonus. minimax-h3.io
