Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

......to be a little sad that my kids are heading to college this week. I'll miss them, but I am excited that they can go out and be independent. Plus they'll still visit!

.....to also be sad that my laptop is dying on me. I have a MacBook Pro from 2013. I've kept it safe. But it stopped updating a while back and now randomly shuts off on me. I hate getting used to new things. I'm probably going to have to get a new one, but ugh, I love my 2013 MacBook Pro.

......to have enjoyed Freakier Friday. It was an enjoyable sequel--sometimes sequels are just awful, but this was well done. Go see it!

......to be reading Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand. It's about Vivi, who dies suddenly but is granted permission to watch what is going on down below for the summer. This means she'll get to see how her kids and ex-husband deal with her death. On Earth there's also an investigation on her death--will a horrible discovery be made? I'm not finished yet, but so far I'm liking the book. I'm curious on how Vivi died!

......to be grateful that Viking Bags sent this over to try out. Tommy is using it for all his film equipment, and it works perfectly! There's so much storage so it holds all his cords and it's big enough for his laptop. If you need a durable bag, go to Viking Bags.

  2. That's amazing that your Macbook Pro has lasted since 2013! I usually burn through my Hewlett Packard laptops in about four years!

  5. I'm so glad to hear that Freakier Friday was good as I to find most often sequels can be really bad. Hopefully the kids will come often to see you. Hope you can get a replacement laptop sorted x

  6. I completely understand that bittersweet feeling of watching your kids head off to college. I’m both proud and a bit emotional when mine take that next big step.

  7. As a mom, it’s such a bittersweet feeling when the kids head off to college—you’re proud, but your heart still aches a little. I love the reminder that it’s okay to feel both excited and sad at the same time
