I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
......to have had the best time with my kids over the weekend. Tommy was home for fall break--Natalie's starts later, but she still came up so we could all watch Hocus Pocus together.
......to hope that maybe I actually win something in McDonald's Monopoly. So far, nothing. I just want free food! Give me free large fries! A free large diet coke! I'm not picky.
......to currently be reading Such Quiet Girls by Noelle West. It's about Jesse, a new bus driver who is forced to go down another road--and soon after, Jesse and the kids on the bus are forced to get out, go into a shipping container, and be buried underground. Will they survive? If this sounds familiar, well, it's because it's based on a true story. Horrifying!
......to be sad that Diane Keaton passed away. I enjoyed so many of her movies. Father Of The Bride was a favorite, as was The First Wives Club. She will be missed.
.....to have had to pick this up for $5 at Five Below. It's so true for me.
That is sweet that Natalie came to visit so you could all enjoy a movie together. My son also came home for the fall break. So good to see our kids!
ReplyDeleteI always love reading your "Hey It's Okay" posts. I so agree with you on this one, it's okay to hope we win something from the McDonald's Monopoly game, lol lol. Me and the kids just said this today.
ReplyDeleteIt was sad to hear that Diane Keaton passed. I too loved many of her movies.
ReplyDeleteI was sad about Diane too, she did so many great films over her life. She certainly will be missed. Good luck with winning Monopoly food!!!!
ReplyDeleteSeeing you share snippets about family, small joys, and even the little wish for free fries makes this feel so real and relatable.
