I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.
HEY, IT'S OKAY....
.....to have a giveaway for a $25 eGift card to Amazon here.
......to have been able to see Natalie for a few days since she had Fall Break. We went to Target and checked out all the Stranger Things merch and then had lunch and dinner with my Mom.
......to currently be reading A Mother's Guide To The Apocalypse by Hollie Overton. It's about Olivia, who is the mother of triplets. She becomes obsessed with doomsday-prepping and is swept away in a flash flood that devastated LA. At least that's what the triplets were told. They realize things might not have happened like that and are determined what happened to their Mom. I'm in the middle of the book and some of what I am reading is like what is going on in the world now, so it makes me a tad nervous. But I am liking it!
....to be watching Married At First Sight this Friday on Peacock. It used to air on Lifetime, but I guess Peacock bought it. Essentially it's about strangers who get married. And things rarely go well. The show has been going on for many years and I think I can count on one hand how many couples have stayed together.
.....to be proud of the No Kings march over the weekend. Some didn't understand the point of the protests, but the ones who did are the ones who are my people.
......to have loved this cute Halloween drink at BJ's Restaurant. It's called Orange Scream-Sicle. It's alcoholic and is made with orange cream soda, monin blood, orange, cream, whipped cream, a raspberry, and gummy eyes. It was delicious!

ReplyDeleteThat Halloween drink looks so delicious. It is always a good thing when kids come to visit from college.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great week and so nice your daughter was home and you guys got some time together. That drink looks so incredibly yummy and I so wish I could try it!
ReplyDeleteThe Halloween cocktail looks amazing. I wonder if they would make it without the alcohol. I don’t drink alcohol these days. But then again I never was a huge drinker.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that you got to spend some time with your daughter. I miss having my daughter near by. She lives in Kansas now so I rarely see her. I also miss seeing my grandbaby.
