Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

......to think it's sweet that Natalie wanted to come home from college just so she could take a bath. She's been sick and has a build up of mucus, and obviously there are no baths in college. So she came home, took a nap, and a bath.

......to be glad Natalie was able to see Iron Lung before she felt too ill. She's been watching Markiplier on YouTube since she was small, and he directed this film, so she had to watch. She said it was really good! I would have no clue what it was had I gone, so I'm glad she went with friends. Tommy also got to see it and enjoyed the movie.

.......to have finished watching Heated Rivalry on HBO Max. I kept hearing about it and saw edits on TikTok so I thought, okay, I need to watch. And it will hook you! It's based on books, which I swore I read.

......to be skipping the Super Bowl. Football tends to bore me. I might tune into the halftime show though!

......to have tried the new snacks from QuikTrip. They have mozzarella sticks and apple pie! Both were delicious! The sticks were $3.99 for 4 and marinara sauce, the apple pie was $1.89. These are perfect if you need something to tide you over until the next meal.

  1. Sometimes the pressure of math exams can feel overwhelming, and it’s okay to admit you need support. I’ve been there—stuck in endless formulas until I found real relief through https://allexamhelper.com/take-my-math-exam-for-me/. Getting help gave me the breathing room I needed to regain focus and protect my well-being. Seeking support isn’t failure; it’s a smart, compassionate choice. You deserve a path forward that doesn’t burn you out.

  3. I still haven't watch Heated Rivalry but my one sister is OBSESSED. My oldest watched Iron Lung as well & does like Markiplier but hadn't a clue what the movie was about. Let's just say it isn't great for claustrophobic people LOL. We'll be having a small Bad Bunny, I mean Super Bowl, party. My stepdad is a football nut. Hoping Natalie is feeling much better now!

  4. I may watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. If not I will be out shopping.

  5. I really enjoy how this “Hey, It’s Okay” post turns everyday moments into small celebrations of honesty, from parenting realities to health check reminders and family milestones, which makes it feel very relatable. The simple list style creates a safe, judgment-free space where readers can breathe a little and remember that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Posts like this feel like a gentle permission slip to embrace real life as it is, and that warmth really shines through.

  6. It is nice to have the comforts of home, I can see why your daughter would like to come home when she's sick.

  8. It is great that Natalie enjoyed the movie after following the director for so long. TikTok recommendations often lead to such addictive shows.
