Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

......to have watched the Half Time show at the Super Bowl. I might not speak Spanish, but I still understood the message. It was incredible!

......to be going to a Gilmore Girls event over the weekend! I have tickets for us to see Kirk, aka Sean Gunn. Other actors will be there as well. Luke, aka Scott Patterson, as well as Todd Lowe aka Zac. It's going to be incredible!

......to currently be reading Too Old For This by Samantha Downing. It's about Lottie, who was a serial killer when she was younger. She's much older now and considers herself retired. But then a journalist shows up asking questions about Lottie's past--and Lottie decides she must step out of retirement. Let me tell you, I would not want to make Lottie mad. I'm only midway through and it's been quite a read!

......to have picked up these deodorants for the Super Mario Galaxy movie for my son. They had a bunch of different characters. Luigi is one of my son's favorites--they all have a fantastic scent!

  1. I did not watch the game, so I did not watch either show. Honestly there is too much hate on Facebook right now because of these shows.

  5. I always love your “Hey, It’s Okay” posts because they turn everyday moments into something relatable and fun to celebrate. The mix of pop culture, books, and family life makes this feel like catching up with a friend over coffee and sharing the little joys of the week. It’s such a refreshing reminder that it’s perfectly okay to enjoy what makes us happy, no matter how simple it seems.

  6. We had a Super Bowl party. I didn't actually watch the game but I, along with my mom & sister, made sure to watch Bad Bunny as well as Greenday. It was great!

  7. I enjoyed the halftime show! I noticed there was a couple dressed as a bride and groom! I found out they actually got married during the halftime! That was sweet to me! I think the halftime meant a lot to Latin American people. A family member of mine said some of her Latin American coworkers cried during the halftime. I actually watched the entire superbowl. I don’t really know a lot about American football and I’m not a huge fan of sports, but I watched the superbowl with my parents and bonding with them made watching the Super Bowl fun!

  8. Getting to see Sean Gunn and Scott Patterson in person! It's great to see you're diving into a thriller like Too Old For This. There is nothing that beats a good "retired" serial killer plot to keep you turning pages.
