Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

.....to have gone to a clowns event with Natalie over the weekend. She dressed as Pennywise and won 2nd place in the costume contest.

.....to be enjoying the new series on Hulu called The Testaments. It's the continuation of The Handmaid's Tale and is based off the book with the same name. HOWEVER, there are many changes, so don't expect the show to be exactly like the book.

......to have watched Coachella videos on TikTok and was reminded that I could have never done it. Even when I was young. Too many people. I'd be overstimulated so quickly.

.......to be going to see Bridesmaids with Mom and Natalie on Sunday. It's back in theaters for the 15th anniversary I think it is? So if you want to re-watch, check to see if it's showing at your local theater. The movie is hilarious!

.......to have ordered this Frankenstein ice cream at The Grim Bakers. The pink whipped cream is supposed to be the brains. It was tasty. I shared with Natalie because there was A LOT of ice cream packed in the cup. And yes, we get to keep the cup.

  1. Another great costume from Natalie! I agree with you on Coachella...I could never. The Frankenstein's monster cup looks awesome!

  2. Natalie rocked the Pennywise costume. She always does.

The ice cream looks delicious. I wonder if we have something similar in the dfw area. I’ll have to check.

  3. This post feels like a cozy permission slip for real life, where the little confessions and everyday thoughts remind us that not everything has to be polished or perfect to be valid. I love how the “Hey, It’s Okay” format creates a rhythm of honesty and relatability, turning ordinary moments into something quietly meaningful and shared. It reads like a gentle nod between kindred spirits, saying we’re all figuring it out—and that’s more than okay. jerry www.fourcolumnsofabalancedlife.com
