We love a good movie backdrop. When we went to see Spider-Man Brand New Day at Flix Brewhouse, we were thrilled to see some cool backgrounds for the film.
I think many movie theaters got this one.
Oh, and yes, my daughter dressed for the occasion. She used what she learned in her stage makeup class and gave herself some wounds. We also attempted to make a white shoe lace look like a web.
But let's return to the backdrop.
We had fun with it.
Natalie did this move:
And Tommy did this:
If I attempted any of those moves, I'm not sure if I'd be able to get back up.
Flix Brewhouse also had this one:
Natalie looked worried, because she wasn't sure if Tom Holland aka Spider-Man would be okay. I won't give away what happens, but man, does he go through it.
Anyhow, we did like the movie. It did squeeze at our heartstrings a few times.
Oh, and we did get the popcorn bucket. Certain movie theaters had specific ones.
So have you seen Spider-Man Brand New Day yet?

Those backdrops are awesome! I saw Brand New Day, and it is crazy good. Best Spider-Man movie yet. They really brought it down to street level, as Spidey should be.
ReplyDeleteThis movie backdrop is awesome and fun. I love how Tommy poses next to it.
ReplyDeleteLove the movie backdrop. The makeup is very well done. I haven't seen the movie yet - I'm old fashioned and will wait for the bluray - but it sounds good.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and daughter are supposed to see it this week! The popcorn bucket looks cool.
ReplyDeleteI loved this behind-the-scenes look at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day backdrops. It’s exciting to see how creative details bring the superhero world to life and give fans a closer look at the magic behind the scenes.
ReplyDeleteOk, I have to admit it. I do kinda like Spiderman. This looks like such a fun thing for kids to do! The back drops are creative and cool--very magical event for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun family outing! I love that Natalie went all out with the stage makeup and homemade web. That kind of creativity makes seeing a new Spider-Man movie even more memorable. The backdrops look like they made for some awesome photos too.
ReplyDeleteThose are fun! And what a fun popcorn bucket! I haven't seen the movie yet but I would like to go!
ReplyDeleteMovie backdrops are so fun! My boys don't like going to the theaters, so we will be waiting for it to release for home viewing. I can't wait, though, I love the Spider Man movies!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like you have a blast with Spider-man backdrops! I watched the movie yesterday and me and the kids alto took pitcures!!
ReplyDeleteThe movie was excellent, and we had such a great time watching it last weekend! Our theater also had a backdrop like yours, but we didn't get the chance to take any photos because there were so many people lining up for it. Maybe next time we'll get there a little earlier!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say that the Spider-Man outfit looks surprisingly practical - roomy, vibrant, cozy, and honestly perfect for Halloween parties... And yes, I loved it!
ReplyDeleteI’ve been seeing Spider-Man stuff everywhere lately and had no idea there was a new movie coming out called Brand New Day. I guess that explains it! It looks really cool. I’ve always loved Spider-Man, and my boyfriend is a huge comic book fan, so I bet he’s loving all of this too.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love that they dressed the part and did some cool moves. I am going to see the movie tomorrow night! I am super excited about it. Hopefully my movie theatre will have a cool backdrop!
ReplyDeleteSuch Fun! I'm glad you enjoyed it as Ive heard a lot of good things about the film. That popcorn bucket looks good too.
ReplyDeleteFlix Brewhouse doing photo backdrops for the big releases is smart — it turns a normal ticket into something people post about, which is free reach for them. We tried the same idea at a small event and made matching social graphics for it with Ravvi AI ad generator so the backdrop and the online promo looked like one thing. Hope you got a good photo of the kids in front of it!
ReplyDeleteMy son loves hoodies. I might have to get him the Spider-Man one for Christmas. He wears hoodies year round basically. Silly child.
