We love the strange. The bizarre. The odd. Natalie had heard about the Oddities & Curiosities Expo and had always wanted to attend. They have come through town before, but we hadn't been able to make it.
But this time?
We made sure to be there.
So what exactly will you find?
Well.
Allow me to share.
First, stuff like this:
And this:
And everything is handmade, so it's impressive. Do spiders freak me out a bit? Yes. But I can appreciate the art.
There are booths upon booths upon booths, so there truly is a huge selection of oddities.
This raccoon is me when I need caffeine:
And who couldn't love a stripper duckling?
And don't worry, you won't only come across deceased creatures.
Some booths had these:
I got this rat for the front room. So when people walk in, they know it'll be a fun home.
(I'm kidding. It was out of my budget. But if I could afford it, I promise, it would be sitting there greeting visitors.)
We discovered another booth with different food mixes. Natalie loves the movie Obsession, so she was a fan of this bag:
I was partial to this one:
If you want to check out the Oddities & Curiosities Expo, check to see if it's coming to your city. They seem to do this every year, so if you don't make it in 2026, there's always 2027. It's a wonderful way to support small businesses.

ReplyDeleteThat sounds like exactly the kind of event where you can lose track of time just wandering from one bizarre display to another. I love expos like this because the unusual finds and handmade pieces often have much more personality than anything you’d see in a regular shop. Now I’m curious what the strangest thing you came across was. After exploring all that weirdness, a completely different internet detour like https://nvcasino.edu.gr/ can be a funny change of pace.
ReplyDeleteOddities & Curiosities Expo sounds like a truly amazing event; I will definitely try to visit with my family in 2027. I especially love that raccoon, and just like you, it reminds me of when I stogly need a cup of coffee to help with the stress from when I have to Write My Nursing Assignment, although this time I have hired professionals, so it will free up a lot of my time for fun activities like this.
