Hey, It's Okay

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. You can link up any day of the week. All you have to do is make a list of what you're okay about. Simple! Please do not link up a post that has nothing to do with Hey, It's Okay. It's rude and I'll delete the link.

HEY, IT'S OKAY....

......to have gone to see Avengers Endgame in theaters with the kids. It was cool to see the extra scenes that will lead into Doomsday. It's still in theaters if you want to catch them--if not, they are floating around on TikTok and YouTube.

.....to need to bring out all the Halloween decor, but it can be a struggle to grab it all from the garage. I'll get it done this week. (With lots of cursing.)

.....to feel sick over the Cornell 7 story and wonder why there's not as much outcry over it as certain people made over Lindsay Clancy.

.....to be glad Tommy had a wonderful time in Paris. He said riding the metro was easy.

.....to love this shirt I found on Amazon because it's so true. (Can't see it? The shirt says "women's rights vary by state. Men's rights don't.") You get pick it up here.

  1. Sounds like Tommy really had a great time in Paris and I too love that shirt! I was just in a Halloween store just this weekend, and it's okay to decorate if you want.

  2. The Cornell incident is awful. It is time for parents to teach their sons about respecting girls.

  4. Oh I love that shirt too! Amazon is my go-to shopping site as well and found nice items from there. Nice post!

  5. I LOVE that shirt! I wish it weren't true, but it's a great way to bring attention to the fact that women's rights are basically a free-for-all in this country.

  6. Halloween and Christmas are the two biggest holidays for wrestling with decorations around here, as well. BUT it's worth it.

  7. It really is apalling that in this era, we need a shirt like the one you're wearing. The country is definitely going backwards.

  9. I don’t typically decorate for holidays these days. It’s expensive too decorate in my opinion. I do have a Christmas tree. I might see if dollar tree has some window clings or something for Halloween.

I’m glad Tommy had a safe and fun trip to Paris.

  10. I always enjoy these kinds of posts because they are so easy to relate to. I had to smile at the thought of pulling all the Halloween decorations out of the garage!

  11. i love the tshirt and your bubbly spirit. We need to celebrate the good and condemn the bad/awful. I'm with you on all of the above.

  12. I don’t decorate for Halloween like I used to now that the kids are grown, but I still love seeing all the neighbors’ decorations. Now Christmas? You better believe I’m decorating for that holiday! I love bringing a little Christmas magic into our home!

  13. I honestly felt sick reading the Cornell story too. It’s awful how the victim was gaslighted while the people who did it seemed to get a free pass. It’s just so frustrating to think that people like this can still go on to become successful, or even end up in positions of power someday.
