"Eat all those pastries and think of me," was one of the last things I said to Tommy before he left for Paris.
France knows how to make a pastry. And a baguette. And...basically everything. Oh, and I was impressed Tommy could fit all he needed in a carry on bag. When my daughter went to Paris, the carry on bag was filled with her shoes. Then she had a whole ass suitcase for the rest.
His trip to Paris went smoothly. And yes, he's doing a solo trip. He went to Canada on his own in May and got bitten by the travel bug.
No delays.
And he landed, and basically hit the ground running.
He's been to many of the famous landmarks:
And of course he got some incredible food. I am so jealous of this baguette sandwich. When Natalie and I went to Paris, I ate so many of these. They're fresh. Delicious. Filling. And generally affordable.
He's there until next week and has a full itinerary. I know he's going to have a memorable time. Paris is a city that has it all: history. Culture.
And food.
