That Time My Kids Were Beetlejuice And Lydia For Halloween

One Halloween, my kids were Beetlejuice and Lydia.

I was surprised on the amount of adults who had no idea who these characters were. Go watch Beetlejuice! Seriously!

My kids had a mini photo session with a local photographer. (Jessica B Photography.)

I love how the photos turned out. This was one of my favorite movies as a kid!

                                                                     "Beetlejui--"

The kids got a lot of candy.

In fact, Tommy ended up with FULL SIZE Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

He made me a deal. I could have them if I let him stay up until 1 AM.

Fine, whatever. For all I know he stays up until 1 AM anyway. Gimmie.

I'm also one of those parents who let the kids keep their candy bags. They can eat it whenever. Natalie was miffed that I keep taking stuff from her bag so she wrote this sign:

For the record, I've been ignoring it.

Have you seen Beetlejuice?
