Opening The Paul McCartney VIP Box

Guess who is going to see Paul McCartney on Saturday?

My Mom and my daughter.

And okay, me as well! Ha. 

If you're like, um, who is Paul McCartney, please do not speak to me. 

I'm kidding.

But anyhow, Paul is a former Beatle. You know, of THE Beatles. The popular group back in the day? The one women and girls would scream and cry over when they took the stage? (And probably some guys too.)

They have popular hits like Blackbird, Help, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hey Jude...the list goes on and on. You've probably heard them on TikTok.

Sadly, two of The Beatles are no longer with us. (John. George.) 

But Ringo and Paul still sing. And Paul is on tour for his Got Back concert.

We were sent this awesome VIP Box, and here's what is inside:

First up was the lanyard, which I might just randomly wear. Then people can be like, "Paul? As in THE Paul McCartney?" and I can be like, "Yes. The one and only," and flip my lanyard like I'm someone important. (Which I am. I'm VIP.)

I also got this nifty fanny pack. I knew the younger folks sling it over their arm, but I do it the old-fashioned way and click it around my waist. Does it look cheesy? Yeah, maybe, But it's secure. And it's against a spot where I'd know if someone tried to dig through. Like, I'd have to be completely out of it for someone to be able to steal from me wearing this fanny pack.

Mind you, if Hayden Christensen walked past, I might be distracted enough...

But ANYWAY.

Also yes, I am Team Jess. From Gilmore Girls. If Jess (aka Milo) walked past, I might be at risk for being distracted enough and getting robbed while wearing this as well. 

Finally, I got this beautiful watch. And yes, watches aren't as popular these days thanks to the phone, but I like wearing one. I can pretend I have a MagicBand on and act as though I'm at DisneyWorld. *Sighs* Also, if someone asks for the time, I can say, "Let me check my SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY watch."

So I loved all my goodies. And I cannot wait for the show. It's at 8 PM at the Alamodome. I checked and there's still tickets available for $100! So you can also see an actual BEATLE! He's been to other states already and I'm told he is on for three hours. The man is 83, and he sings for 3 hours. Shoot, I'm going to need a nap before I go to the concert because 11 is my bedtime and that's when it ends. 

I know I'm going to have the best time with my Mom and daughter.
