Airing My Laundry, One Post At A Time...: Rent Movies At Be Kind Video

Remember back in the day where you could go into Blockbuster and rent movies?

It was fabulous.

And exciting. You never know what you'd find. Occasionally what you wanted to watch would already be rented so you'd have to search for another pick.

It would be incredibly thrilling if the video you wanted in the first place was RETURNED as you walked around the store. Score!

I miss those days.

It's nice to have the streaming services, but there's something magical about RENTING a video.

It's why we love Be Kind Video in Burbank.

The store is filled with VHS tapes, plus DVDs. If you have a favorite movie, odds are, you'll find it there. You'll find stacks and stacks of them.

Plus there are retro toys to check out.

And as I mentioned, YES, you can rent movies as well. If we were local, we'd so be doing this.

Since we are not, we just make sure to pop in whenever we're in town.

We were lucky the last time we came in: we were given this prop from Gilmore Girls! The guy noticed my Gilmore Girls backpack and said someone from the show had dropped it off. It looks as though it was used in A Year In The Life judging from the 2016 date. We were beyond thrilled!
