It’s no secret that I love to buy my children clothes. So every once in awhile I’ll post an entry with them sporting their latest outfit. It’ll mainly be my daughter since my son usually asks me to take pictures of his butt.
Natalie is sporting a dress from Gymboree’s Prep School line. These were taken on her first day of preschool.
“Hey Natalie, ready for some pictures?”
She’s either like, “Um, no,” or wondering what Lindsay Lohan is doing out of jail.
Then she asked me for some cheese and I was all, “Cheese? It’s 745 in the morning.”
She gave me some smiles:
And then showed me how she could hold her leg up. I need to get her into gymnastics, I guess. If I tried that I’d fall on my face.
I got her backpack out and yes, it’s also from Gymboree.
She was all ready for school.
“Is there cheese at preschool?” Natalie asked.
“I’m not sure?” I responded.
She looks a tad shocked. Probably thinking, “What does she mean she’s not sure? Everyone should serve cheese.”
I told Natalie that she’d have papers from school in her backpack sometimes.
She took this literally and ran inside and got some computer papers to stick inside.
Awesome.

She is so stinkin' cute!! love it!
ReplyDeleteHer expression in the first picture made me bark with laughter. (If that makes sense.)
ReplyDeleteShe's got the most sparkling eyes. I'm also impressed with her flexibility.
ReplyDeleteAWWWWW! Love the outfit, and of course, she's so stinkin' cute!
ReplyDeleteshe's adorable!!!
ReplyDeletethe kid could be a model!
Too adorable for words.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful! I remember the first day of pre-school! Now first grade is starting. Where does the time go?
ReplyDeleteAwww...how cute is she?!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm going to sound lame now saying the exact same thing everyone else said. But MAN - you produced some ADORABLE spawn! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the backpack! And how funny that she helped put papers in there. Good practice. Now if they will just find their way home and to the table in a timely manner.
ReplyDeleteAdorable pictures, and I love the back pack!
ReplyDeleteOh I just love that precious little Natalie! She's such a doll and I sure hope somebody gave the kid some cheese! Heeheehehe!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderfully blessed day girl!!!
I just love your blog! It brings such a smile and some great laughter when I read your posts. Your daughter is beautiful and cheese, who wouldn't want cheese! (=
ReplyDeleteShe's absolutely precious! Both of your kids are just incredibly cute, and bright looking. :)
ReplyDeletehahaha "my son usually asks me to take pictures of his butt." Best line ever.
ReplyDeleteNatalie is sooooooo cute. Love her smile and her eyes.
She is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteEveryone should serve cheese.
I love her dress! I wish I had a little girl to dress up. I don't think my son will always be as willing!
ReplyDeleteI am also a shopoholic and I just LOVE Gymboree. I never cared for it for my boys as much but with a girl, it's my favorite. I LOVE this line but didn't like it as much for my 8 month old. I'm thinking of trying to find some NWT pieces on Ebay to save for when she is older.
ReplyDeleteI'm just dying at the enormity of that backpack. I'm pretty sure it's as big as she is. BUT, it's cute.
ReplyDeleteMore importantly, SHE is adorable. Nay, A-DOR-A-BULL!!! Love those eyes and cute long hair.
My daughter that just started preschool too insists on shoving all kinds of random crap in her backpack, just in case.
She is an absolute doll! I really love that apple dress and backpack. I hope she got some cheese at school. How cute is that about the paper?
ReplyDeleteClaire has a similar dress. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteSuch a knockout smile when she lights it up!!
ReplyDelete:)
I hope when she finds Cheese at school - its actually real made from milk Cheese and not the chemical slop they had when I went to school!
Her outfit adorable and so is she.
ReplyDeleteShe'll soon learn that cheese is about the last food item she should be hoping to be served at school.
ReplyDeleteAnd that backpack is huge on her!! Don't let her put anymore paper in it - she'll fall over!
Good LORD, how did she get her foot like that? I considered (note the past tense) myself pretty flexible, and I can't even imagine how that would happen without some serious ankle twisting.
ReplyDeleteAnd to echo everyone else, she's gorgeous. I love her little pigtails. Too cute.
She is always so adorable!
ReplyDeleteGuess we both had the same idea! I blogged about Aidyns wardrobe today too!
I think our kids should get married!
She's so stinkin' cute! Love it!
ReplyDeletegorgeous.. both miss natalie and HER clothes!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a mom who loves dressing up her daughter as much as you do. It's just the cutest thing and she definitely is the perfect model!
ReplyDeleteOMG, if I were you, I'd stare at her beautiful face all day long, well all the time I'm not blogging, or working, or whatever, you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow that kid is flexible! I don't think I've ever been able to do that with my leg!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie she is - and that backpack is as big as she is!
I find your daughter's healthy appreciation of dairy to be wildly refreshing.
ReplyDeleteShe's also cuter than spit.
But seriously, cheese should be in preschool and all the way up to PhD.
I know it'd make me a lot more likely to write a dissertation.
I love that her backpack is the same print as her dress.
ReplyDeleteGorg! Cracks me up that she's got the hand on the hip thing that all the movie stars do to make them look thinner than their size 0.
ReplyDeleteReally super adorable And flexible? That's impressive! I think kids are kneeless, right? That's what helps them move like that?
ReplyDeleteDid you have to run into the house for those shots or were they freebies?
ReplyDeleteShe look GORGEOUS. Hope the first day went well!
GORGEOUS! She's just beautiful. And I really think cheese should be available everywhere.
ReplyDeleteShe is too cute.
ReplyDeleteShe is ADORABLE! Seriously! Love her outfit and backpack too!
ReplyDeleteShe is so funny!
ReplyDeleteOh, she is cute
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable - she'll get away with telling her teacher that she doesn't "yike" something! I love that the back pack is almost as big as she is!
ReplyDeleteHer eyes are just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteShe's so precious!!! I always love to see her latest clothes and compare who spends the most on their girls, lol! Dressing up girls rocks!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a little doll! And she's right ... everyone should serve cheese ... all cheese, all the time!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! Her backpack is bigger than her though! Hehe. Glad she's enjoying school :)
ReplyDeleteShe is gorgeous!
