My mother loves to tell the story how neighbors came up to our house one winter (it was frigging cold and snowy!) telling her, "Your daughter is playing outside." - "Yeah, so what?" - "Uhm... she's naked."
(Which was not true, because I was wearing rubber boots. And I was two years old at that time.)
That is awesome! That girl has some serious "spirit"!! And lately, Maggie has decided that clothes should be completely optional, as in she'll melt and or die a million deaths if clothes TOUCH her body. It makes trying to go anywhere a real treat, trust me. Oh wait, looks like you probably already know that.
OMG -- Okay. I admit it, I have been a lurker for way to long, but Girl -- you make me laugh -- each and every day. However, this one did me in! Thank you for telling it like it is!
Laughing my butt off! Because I have so been there. We caught my two boys and their older cousin playing ball in their underwear the other evening at my inlaws' house and it was 44 degrees outside!
Oh man... I saw the first picture with the pixie stix, and I laughed to myself "oh...that mom must not like herself!" and then I saw the second picture and busted up laughing! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteThat cracks me up! She is hysterical!! Side note y daughter does that without the aid of pixie sticks... I think we have a problem ;)
ReplyDeleteMy mom would always throw the pixie sticks I would get for Halloween in the garbage. My mom was a sugar fascist.
ReplyDeleteIs that SNOW out there? Yikes! I guess she can hold your place in line at next year's Black Friday sales!
ReplyDeleteWhere is all that snow you've been talking about?
ReplyDeleteI love it! Ha ha! Looks like something one of my kids would do (without the pixie stick!)

ReplyDeleteHa! I needed that after my day at work, thank you!
ReplyDeleteWas her run in the cold right after the GIANT pixie stick? Can it really be called a "pixie" stick when it is bigger than her??

ReplyDeleteI guess it's true that children really copy their parents, eh?

"Somebody's got to nail that girl's fins to da floor!"
ReplyDeleteMy favorite quote from "The Little Mermaid"!
I'm literally crying with laughter. I'm thinking of getting some pixie sticks in for our next party, get things going.
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!! I was not expecting to see that!
ReplyDeleteHa, that was awesome and reminds me of my youngest and he's not even old enough to have pixie stix....

ReplyDeleteI think I did something like that once, but it was probably for ribs.
