I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

To have bought Sophie Kinsella’s book Wedding Night that just came out today. (She wrote the Shopaholic series.)
To be proud of my friend Pam for walking for individuals with Neurofibromatosis. If you want to donate to this fabulous cause, please do so here.
To usually spend my credit card points on gift cards. Namely on Panera Bread. Still love that place. (The fuji apple salad is amazing. As are those frosted shortbread cookies.)
To hope Disney World will have Sofia stuff for sale when we go in June. The Sofia the First dress has been sold out at DisneyStore.com for months now.
To be watching What Would Ryan Lochte Do? for inspiration for a sequel to my book The Swimmer’s Assistant. He seems a bit….out there. But who knows?
To feel better about my own home whenever I watch Hoarders. It might not be immaculate but at least I don’t have feces and trash scattered around.
To be happy Tom liked his birthday package. He chuckled at the dancing underwear card.
To think the new Kmart ad is hilarious. I know some people are all, “Not appropriate,” and those people probably need some humor in their lives.

That KMart ad is pure genius! I've shown it to all the people I work with, including my boss! Way to go KMart!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder! I have never missed a Sophie Kinsella book. I read the Shopaholic series three times.
ReplyDeleteThat commercial is awesome.
Ha ha funny ad!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were working on a sequel! That's exciting! I LOVED that book.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I also heard your 'voice' while reading it - so that made it more entertaining. ;)
What a neat idea to post things you're okay about. I'll think about joining in on my blog. It's so darn busy as it is, but I might be able to squeeze something else in. Followed you from SITS. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteOMG I LOOOOOOOVE that Kmart commercial. Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI knew Sophie Kinsella had a new book coming out, but for some reason I thought it was out in June! I'll have to buy a copy.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do get some inspiration for a Swimmer's Assistant sequel!

ReplyDeleteOn another hysterical but random note, I just looked over at your "Trends" tag words and "EVIL" & "WiiFIT" are right next to each other and huge. And that seems about right.
Saw Ryan on Letterman last night. Very cute... more so when he keeps his mouth shut! ;)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Kmart commercial. Laugh every time I watch it.
I can't even watch Hoarders anymore. It always makes me want to throw away Every. In. My. House. *shudders*
Thanks for the book reviews. Will check them out.
