I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

To still cringe a bit when a couple announces, “We’re pregnant!” I seriously want to go, “Well, technically SHE’S pregnant and will be the one getting fat so….” I never, ever said “we’re pregnant!” when I was pregnant. But it’s cool if women want to share the news that way. Just not for me.
To be excited that my Mom comes tomorrow! She’s staying for a couple of days. And the part that makes me super excited is that she’s taking my kids with her when she goes. I get a week of peace to myself before I fly out to her house. A WEEK OF PEACE!
To love Gymboree’s latest line Brightest In Class. My daughter will be getting several outfits for school. We have Gymbucks.
To wonder if there are people who really give a crap about seeing a picture of Kim and Kanye’s baby. I could care less. It’ll probably be wearing clothes that cost as much as my husband earns in a year, which will only piss me off.
To think Aaryn from Big Brother is awful. She’s clearly a racist. Other people in the house have also uttered terrible things. Oh, and GinaMarie’s reaction to Nick leaving? Ridiculous.
To NOT be watching the Honey Boo Boo special where you can scratch and sniff. I watch a lot of bad reality TV but I can’t stomach that one.
To have tried the new pretzelburger from Wendy’s. I’ll post my review on it this week! No, I was not paid by Wendy’s either. I just like to eat.
To have a giveaway for a prize pack from Givver.com here!

I also watch too much terrible reality tv but I have so far managed to avoid getting sucked into the vortex that is Honey Boo Boo
ReplyDeleteI also watch too much terrible reality tv but I have so far managed to avoid getting sucked into the vortex that is Honey Boo Boo
ReplyDeleteWow, a whole week without kids! That will be nice! Does she want to take my son too? Ha ha ;D
ReplyDeleteI am a reality TV junkie.. but I too have shied away from Honey Boo Boo. I think I've watched 15 minutes of an episode and couldn't bring myself to watch any more. It was frightening.
What are you going to do with all that time to yourself? And yeah, I don't watch Honey Boo Boo and that is not enticing me to watch it either
ReplyDeleteGeez, Honey is playing to a really rough crowd here.
ReplyDeleteI roll my eyes every time I see that commercial for the Honey Boo Boo special!
ReplyDeleteI think you'll have better things to do with your week of freedom that watch that!!! Enjoy!
I agree with you...so weird when people say "we're pregnant" and when the guy says "I'm going to have a baby".
ReplyDeleteThe whole scratch and sniff thing...that seems so utterly disgusting and I can't believe that people would actually be interested in knowing what Honey Boo et al smell like.
Aaryn is horrible! I wrote about this in my post today too..,kinda. And GinaMarie...oh please. yes, Nick is going to date someone else, especially after he sees how you reacted to him going.
Enjoy the visit with your mom and your week of peace!
I'm jealous about your week of peace!
ReplyDeleteI almost stopped reading at "a week of peace" because I was blind with jealousy, but I'm glad I pressed on. ;) Seriously, have fun! I'm excited for you!
ReplyDeleteI love me some Honey Boo Boo. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I won't be watching-and-sniffing, however.
And I just had a pretzelburger from Wendy's like two days ago. I thought it was kind of bland ...
I am with you on the "we're pregnant" thing. What a ridiculous thing to say. We said "we're expecting" instead! Glad to know I am not the only one who can't stand that! :)
ReplyDeleteCannot stand we're pregnant!!! I picture two people shoved in a shirt together with a big belly.
ReplyDeleteShould I even..Google the scratch and sniff thing? I think probably not..
ReplyDeleteMy mom is coming tomorrow too - how funny! Sadly she's not taking my kids for a week. A week of peace. I can't even imagine what I'd get done..
I watch reality tv. Housewives, sisterwives.......but honey boo boo is to much for me.......ick.
ReplyDeleteOMG, Big Brother is making me hate all people on the planet. Aaryn is disgusting, as is GinaMarie. And her reaction to Nick's leaving?? Most people reserve sobbing like that for an actual break up. You know where the other guy actually likes you and isn't just tolerating you for your vote??
ReplyDeleteTotally agree on the pregnancy thing! Even my mother in law is getting on the "we're pregnant" statement and I almost snapped the other day and asked who the heck "we" was :)
