I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

--To be ready to celebrate Natalie's birthday tomorrow. She'll be 7. We're going to Panera Bread for lunch and then getting her hair cut and curled at Snip-Its.
--To love the new Ben and Jerry's core ice cream. I got the salted caramel one. So tasty.
--To have fixed the iPod Touch Natalie uses. It's an old one, probably the second one ever released. She did something to it that made it say Activation Required so I had to plug it into my Macbook and it restored to factory settings. Lovely. But it works again!
--To not be pleased that Facebook changed again. Stop it, Mark Zuckerberg. Just. Stop. It.
--To have not done much for St. Patrick's Day. Nothing I made was green. There were no leprechaun traps. And my kids didn't care. We don't really do much for that day, you see.
--To hope I don't lose my mind during Spring Break. It's this week.
--To be excited about going to The Melting Pot on Sunday. They're having a princess day. Belle and the Beast will be there. Natalie gets to dress up as her favorite princess. Oh, and there will be FONDUE!
--To have a giveaway for a Veronica Mars DVD here.
To be glad that Natalie always tolerated being dressed up:

i'm not a st pats fan either! i havent been to the melting pot in years! i think that's a good excuse to go!
ReplyDeleteI wore green and decorated a bit in my apartment that was it. No green foods here...I don't think I could stomach it.
ReplyDeleteNatalie is a doll! She's so cute!
the only reason i remembered it was st. paddy's day was because my 5yr told me before school LOL

LOVE the Melting Pot!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSince it is Wednesday already: Happy Birthday Natalie!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't do anything for Paddy's day either ... oh wait I had a couple of sips of Guiness.
I LOVE Melting Pot! And to have Belle there! I don't know that there are any near me now, but there were when I lived in Jersey.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the new core ice creams. I like the peanut butter one but the core itself is a little yucky to me. The salted caramel has been my favorite so far.
St. Patty's came and went. It was just another day to me. Unless you love to drink (which I don't) it's a boring holiday.
ReplyDeleteThat is such an adorable picture! I got the Ben & Jerry's caramel core ice cream awhile back and it was just too much caramel. I was SHOCKED that I felt that way because I adore caramel. Still delicious though, of course!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling lame about St. Patrick's day and spring break in general this year. We don't really have anything planned and I think the boys are sort of OK with that - they just want some down time!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday #7 to Natalie tomorrow!!
I've been wanting to try that salted caramel ice cream but haven't seen it at my store yet :(
ReplyDeleteI had a shamrock shake in honor of the day!
ReplyDeleteI always wear green on St. Paddy's Day, and we always eat corned beef & cabbage. Gone are the days of going out. It's amateur hour.
ReplyDeleteI celebrated St Patrick's Day by wearing a green cardigan...that's it. I LOVE salted caramel...I've been keeping an eye out for the new Ben & Jerry's since you first mentioned it...no sight of it yet.
ReplyDeleteI actually had to uninstall and reinstall the Facebook app to open again after the update! This is the first time the new iPhone update has actually annoyed me.
ReplyDeleteBirthday parties are always great, except when you get a certain age and would like to forget how old you are. Just blogging around and found your page. Thanks for letting me visit.

awwwww stop with that last picture sooooo sweet! It's okay I forgot about St. Patty's day as well until I saw blogland! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love it..... I think I will try this what a great Idea!!!! Especially the Facebook one. For real STOP changing it.... URGH!!!!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or does the new Facebook look a lot like it used to at some point in the past? I can't keep up, but it sure looks vaguely familiar to me. That night at the Melting Pot sounds like it will be awesome!! I've never been.
ReplyDeletei have been eyeing that ice cream. It looks delightful!
ReplyDeleteomggggg GURL! That salted caramel core ice cream is the shit! I'm on my third pint as we speak! hahaha
ReplyDeleteCan't believe she'll be 7!! I've been reading your blog for years I think... it's fun watching the kids grow :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Natalie! I hope it's a fabulous day.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't really do anything for St. Paddy's either. no green. nothing baked - unless you count the green beans. But, we did have Shamrock shakes on the weekend.
That's how I survived their Spring Break. They kept busy, I drank fake diary dyed beverages.
I could really care less about St. Patrick's Day too, except it's my parents' wedding anniversary! We used to watch their wedding video every year until they got too depressed seeing all the people who have died since.
ReplyDeletewe dont celebrate st patricks day either my kids dont care. LOL
ReplyDeleteOur spring break is next week AGHHHH!
That last picture is adorable! I don't celebrate St. Patricks Day. I have enough other things going on than to worry about it.
ReplyDeleteI bought the kids St. Patrick's Day necklaces...and forgot to give them to them!! Actually they were stuck in the van while we had ANOTHER snow day!
