-----------
--To have not gone shopping on Black Friday. I just did my shopping online.
--To almost have forgotten to move the elf. And it's only just begun.
--To have watched A Million Ways To Die In The West with Tom. Seth MacFarlane amuses us. If you like his humor, go watch it.
--To not have been sad over The Walking Dead finale. I posted why on my Twitter account.
--To have seen Mockingjay over Thanksgiving break. I liked it. Makes me wish I knew how to run around with a crossbow.
--To love getting books to review. I did one called Elements For Girls here and another for The Treasury of Christmas Classics and Alvin and the Chipmunks: It's Showtime here.
--To have had our elf leave this note on the first day she arrived. Some people do the sweet type notes on thick sparkly paper. My elf is blunt and doesn't want to pay extra for paper.
No Black Friday shopping for me either - I've never gone! I hate crowds and already don't like shopping, so that day sounds awful. I also bought some things from home - I LOVE online shopping in my PJs! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been shopping online too with help from that gymbofriends thread that I see you on sometimes! the note from your elf is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blunt honesty. It reminds me of, well, me! I also did buy 1 thing online on Black Friday, but otherwise, I laid on the couch and watched movies all day.
ReplyDeleteI have this week off... think I might go see a matinee of Mockingjay solo!
ReplyDeleteI love how your elf admits to being creepy! And ditto to not shopping on Black Friday- no thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love the letter from your elf - so fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI think the elves are super creepy.
HAHAHA your elf note cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteI shopped online this weekend and at small local shops, but not in store.
My husband made me watch A Million Ways to Die. It was stupid. We like stupid moves, though. It was an entertaining way to spend an evening. :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard A Million Ways to Die is funny and can't wait to watch it. I don't love the elves, but your note is classic!
ReplyDeleteI just saw that Seth movie over the weekend it was hilarious. I really liked Sarah Silverman's character. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I love the note from the elf... I thought about writing a letter from Santa to the kids, but hubby's not a fan, so no fun for me :-(
ReplyDeleteI have no heard of this movie but it sounds good.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Mockingjay yet, but I need to!
ReplyDeleteI was all about shopping online. No need for that shelf. I would totally forget to move the Elf too.
ReplyDeleteDid you see Big Hero 6 yet or did I miss a post about it?
ReplyDeleteA Million Ways... is funny. I am glad I met Neil Patrick Harris BEFORE seeing it. LOL! I love how Sarah Silverman was all "We should keep our relationship pure" and then some gross guy is like "I wanna F---" and she's like "i'll be right there!" That also ruined Vanellope for me....
I didn't shop on Friday other than for groceries.
hahaha! Meredith is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteOk so I watched the Seth movie, and not exactly good parenting here, but we let Scarlet watch just one part. I think it was a fart or poop joke and it was so funny. We didn't let her see ANY other scenes, though.
And I still haven't done my shopping. Yikes!
I absolutely love the note the elf left! It's the best!
ReplyDeleteAwesome post. I can't do anything daily. We almost forgot the advent calendar today - thank goodness my children won't let me forget!
ReplyDeleteLOL at Walking Dead. Yes. I hear you.
Thanks for sharing.
xoxo
I have been avoided any talk about the Walking Dead...I watched in on Netflix, so I can't watch this season yet! Thank you for not writing a spoiler! (I know I can assume that someone will die...)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing Mockingjay! I read the books and loved them!
I'm with you. You couldn't pay me to go shopping on Black Friday. I was online shopping from Friday to Monday, though! I really wanted to see Mockingjay over Thanksgiving, but it didn't work out. Rats. I'm dying to see it! --Lisa
ReplyDeleteLaffs at the letter... Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love your Elf letter, what a great idea! I like it better sans sparkly paper :)
ReplyDeleteThat elf note is genius! I've never seen The Walking Dead. I keep seeing people talk about it on fb/twitter, but I haven't watched any of it. Might be my next Netflix binge.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, the elf is supposed to have a letter? Can't it just return?? Why add this whole other step? Jerks. Well, at least I'm glad my kids can't read so I can just wing it. Just like I did last night when I thought I would suspend the elf in the air and it turned out much less like a superhero and way more like it was ending his own misery. Oops.
