I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post. Grab the button if you'd like!

--To be happy my husband is home. He had to go to North Carolina for a little over a week because his Mom took a bad turn from a surgery that went wrong. I'm happy to say she's doing better. It'll be a long road to a full recovery, but we're so glad she pulled through.
--To not be sure what we'll be doing for our anniversary on Thursday. We'll probably have a lunch date since the kids are in school. So at least we'll have some alone time then.
--To have wanted to write "who cares?" whenever someone on Facebook shared that Kim K had a male baby. I didn't, because I get that others find her interesting.
--To hope the gingerbread house we put together stays together. Normally they always fall apart.
--To have a giveaway for a $50 gift certificate to Novica.com here.
--To have also been able to review a bracelet and charms from Soufeel here.
--To think I'm done Christmas shopping. I need to go through everything I have, but I'm pretty sure I'm finished!
--To have mailed out most of my Christmas cards. I have a few left, but I'm glad I got the majority out.
--To think it's awesome that Natalie likes to run around in this Darth Vader costume. It used to be Tommy's.

i love the kids in costume phase!! so much fun! we've been doing a lot of rainbow costumes around here lately.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Tom's mom pulled through.
ReplyDeleteYay so glad Toms mom is better!
ReplyDeleteOh god who cares what those Kartrashians do. You totally should have written it-I'm sick of them!
Vader is AWESOME!!! I have never cared about the Kardashians. They'll probably name this one something completely stupid too, like east.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteI could care less about Saint West too. :P
I'm glad Tom's mom is on the road to recovery... and happy almost anniversary!!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't care about the Kardashians at all. I don't get the hype.
ReplyDeleteLove the costume. My 7y/o loves all things Vader right now.
I like Kourtney because she's a little crunchy but I think the rest of them are annoying and I feel bad for the youngest kids growing up in that. And I am so behind in my Christmas cards - I ordered from Shutterfly late and still haven't gotten them yet. Oops!
ReplyDeleteI love these posts each week and I'm finally stopping by to tell you! XO
ReplyDeleteGlad his Mom is okay and he is home now. I am more interested in what they named this kid, hopefully nothing stupid or trendy. Kids have to live with that name for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad your husband is home now and that his Mom is okay.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm done with my shopping too! I just need to do Cassidy's stocking. That's always hard!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Tom's mom pulled through. It was very scary.
Love the costume!
ReplyDeleteWell new babies are exciting, but yeah, I won't be commenting on that particular one and only giving them more attention/press. Happy to hear that your MIL is doing better. It's so hard when our parent's start to have health problems - our last year was one parent falling ill after another.
So glad your mother in law is on the mend. I'm jealous that your shopping and Christmas cards are done. I haven't even started yet - yikes!
ReplyDeleteThat's great news that your MIL is on the mend...! And Kim K had her baby? HA I'm so behind, as always..!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that your mother in law is doing well. I hope for her safe recovery. I'm nowhere done Christmas shopping, nor am I anywhere near done with my Christmas cards. It's crazy to think that the Holiday is almost here ! I'll definitely add this to my blog for today's post! :D

Just did most of my shopping online today. I'm so with it. If I was any more with it, maybe I could pull off the Darth Vader look too. (I love that.)
